Try to master the pronunciation of the new words. 方法：通过百度翻译或者百度词典掌握单词的发音和用法。百度翻译：/ 百度词典: 百度词典/Task 2 Fast reading: Get students to read the passage in four minutes and answer the questions in Activity 2.Task 3 Learn bout different table manners between China and western countries. 技巧：通过百度搜索了解中西方文化的差异。“中西方饮食文化差异有哪些？”百度知道：/question/349233878.html“西餐的注意事项” 百度知道： /question/326146882.html“西餐礼仪” 百度百科： /view/48632.htm二、教学课题 教养方面： 1、让学生能够读懂有关介绍食物和饮食习惯的文章。2、让学生能够听懂描述中西文化差异的文章。3、让学生能够模仿课文写一篇有关中国食物和饮食习惯的短文。4、让学生能够根据已知信息预测和推断文章的深层含义。教育方面： 1、让学生了解不同国家的饮食文化，开阔学生的视野。2、让学生了解更多的餐桌礼仪，拓展学生的知识面。3、让学生能够用英语介绍我们中国的饮食习惯。发展方面： 1、提高学生的阅读技巧和阅读水平，增加学生的阅读技能。2、提高学生的写作能力，培养学生的辨别理解能力。三、教材分析当今世界的飞速发展，让我们的眼界越来越开阔，我们与世界的交流也越来越密切，了解西方人的生活习惯已不再是一个陌生的话题。而本单元恰恰为我们的初中学生提供了这么一个很好的机会。Unit 2 Knives and forks are used for most food 是Module 7 Eating together 的第二个单元，本单元通过介绍西餐用餐习惯，内容涉及用餐时间、餐具、食物数量和如何结束等方面，帮助学生了解西方的饮食文化和用餐习惯，同时可以加深学生对中国饮食文化的认识与理解。本单元的重点是掌握介绍食物和饮食习惯的基本词汇，了解西方人的饮食习惯，能够叙述自己的餐饮经历，读懂含有被动语态的句子。教学之前用百度搜索课上能用到的网址并收藏，方便上课时使用。 通过百度百科的介绍让学生真切了解外面的精彩世界并开阔视野。 通过百度文库让学生整理语法并加以练习。四、教学方法 本节课是一节读写课，让学生通过阅读了解西方人的饮食习惯，特别是就餐礼仪。导入环节我是通过展示百度搜索到西方人的就餐礼仪和图片，引起学生的兴趣，导入课题。在学生学习这篇文章时，我引导学生运用泛读精读朗读写作的方法来理解掌握这篇文章。 因为大量的农村学生对于西方人的就餐礼仪了解的并不是很多，所以我运用百度搜索来帮助学生充分理解课文， 因为图片教学更加容易生动，而百度所涵盖的内容像大海一样广阔，像白宝库一样拥有尽有，所以我利用百度搜索、百度图库、百度视频、百度快照、百度翻译、百度词典、百度文库等开展我的教学。基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”, 不断培养学生自主创新能力所需要的素质要求，因此我本着以学生为本的原则，实施我们潍坊市承担创新的国家级课题的教学方法：自主互助学习型课堂教学法。五、教学过程 （一）、Warming -up通过展示百度搜索：“西餐礼仪”百度百科/view/48632.htm百度知道/question/17717742.html百度视频/v?ct=301989888&rn=20&pn=0&db=0&s=8&word=%CE%F7%B2%CD%C0%F1%D2%C7&fr=ala0百度图片/i?tn=baiduimage&ct=201326592&lm=-1&cl=2&fr=ala0&word=%CE%F7%B2%CD%C0%F1%D2%C7 创设情景,激发学生兴趣，导入话题。 二 、教学过程 板书课题、展示学习目标 Step 1 Self-studyFast reading: Let student read the passage and try to understand the saying “ When in Rome, do as Romans do.” 学生可以通过百度搜索查找来源。Step 2 Cooperative study Intensive reading：Let students read the passage carefully, and try to finish the follow questions.
