Topic-based WritingSchool Activities一教学内容分析 高三第一阶段的复习正是训练写作的黄金时机。学生若能熟练掌握各典型话题的作文,英语成绩仍有大幅提升的可能性。针对近年来四川高考英语作文命题体裁交融、半开放性增强、及写作话题与学生生活密切相关的特点,我选用了“校园活动”为写作训练话题,并提供了与话题相关、但体裁不同的3篇范文,让学生从中感知、体验和提炼如何写好一篇与自己生活有一定关联的英语短文。二、学生情况分析 目前,学生在写作中普遍存在词汇贫乏、搭配不当、句型误用、语法不通、表达不得体等问题。同时,高三的写作训练往往是用测试代替,学生得到的系统性指导不多。因此,本堂课力图从一个热门话题入手,指导学生如何以话题为线索,将词汇、句型、模板打包,使高三英语课堂写作的训练更具自主性和时效性。三、教学目标(一)知识目标1.学生基本建立校园活动话题作文的词汇、句式包。2.学生能掌握校园活动话题书面表达的模板特点并进行初步运用。(二) 能力目标1. 学生通过积累作文语言和熟悉相应的模板,进一步培养自己的英语书面表达能力。2. 学生通过问答、小组竞赛、头脑风暴等方式训练自己的英语思维能力。(三)情感目标激发学生用英语描述熟悉的校园活动,激发英语学习兴趣。四、教学重点和难点教学重点:建立校园活动类话题的词汇、句式包、学生掌握其典型的表达结构;教学难点:对范文信息的处理和词汇句式的整理。五、教学方法及手段1任务型教学法。2利用多媒体PowerPoint课件及黑板等手段。六、教学过程Step 1: Lead-inTeachers Activities Ask the students to brainstorm the common topics in NMET.Students Activities Brainstorm the common topics in NMET.AimsThe students get to know the purpose of the class and collect the common topics in NMET.Step2: Working out the Aspects of the Writing TopicTeachers Activities1. Guide the students to read 3 sample writings.2. Ask the students to analyze the samples and work out the aspects that should be covered in an activity. Students Activities1. Read the sample writings and find out what aspects should be covered about the topic. Aim1. The students know the four aspects to cover when writing about the topic.2. The students develop the ability of processing information.Step 3: Collect Useful Expressions about the TopicTeachers Activities1. Ask the students to collect useful expression about the 4 aspects by referring to the samples and their own storage of vocabulary. (the most difficult point)2. Organize a group competition among students.3. Wrap up expressions provided by students and show students the “word package”.Students Activities1. Collect useful expressions and classify them into 4 aspects.2. Share useful expressions and work together for the competition.3. Take notes of the “word package”.Aims1. The students summarize useful expressions for the 4 aspects.2. The students develop the ability to solve problems by themselves and classify information.3. The students learn to work in cooperative ways.Step 4: Learning Typical Writing Models of the TopicTeachers Activities1. Present three different writing models of the samples.2. Ask the students to understand and memorize the models in class.Students Activities1. Read the models and try to memorize them in class.AimsThe students learn to imitate certain writing models . Step 5: Creating Students Own WritingTeachers Activities1. Ask the students to choose one of the models and write about an activity.2. Evaluate one passage in class according to the given criteria.3. Ask the students to do peer-reading with their partners.4. Present tips for practice after class.Students Activities1. Write their own passages about an activity.2. Read and evaluate their partners writing based on the given criteria.3. Understand and memorize the tips.Aims1. The students create a writing passage & learn about the criteria of evaluation.2. The students learn how to practice writing in a topic-based way after class.Step 6 HomeworkFinish your writing and exchange it with your partner. Evaluate your partners writing
