However, others hold different opinion, arguing that its a waste of money, resources and manpower to re-shoot the classic works. Besides, if continued, this will breed a habitual laziness among TV and film makers that they will cease to be creative and innovative. As for me, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. On one hand, though classic, the old versions dont suit the aesthetic taste of modern age in terms of their costumes, settings and effects technology. On the other hand, with modern perspectives being added, the new works are able to enlighten the audience in an entirely different way. So its a blessing for us to view and enjoy the re-shoot works.
