ES-200 DIE DESIGN AND BUILD STANDARDSI. GENERAL CONDITIONS A. It is the vendors responsibility to read and understand these standards. 阅读并理解模具标准是模具供应商的责任B. All Tools must comply with O.S.H.A. Federal Safety Standards and MIOSHA State Safety Standards. C. All corrections to the tool necessary to meet approval are the responsibility of the vendor and to be made prior to delivery to E&E. D. It is the vendors responsibility to be aware of part print tolerances, critical characteristics, and important features that must be addressed in the design of the tool. E. E&E engineering must approve the strip, 50% and final design before tool build is started. F. Part print revisions affecting the die build will be communicated to vendor as soon as is practical. Subsequent tool design changes must be reviewed and approved by E&E engineering prior to implementation. G. We rely on our vendors to follow Good Die Practices, keeping in mind that E&E is a High Volume Production House, requiring high quality durable tools. E&E 工厂是一个高产量的生产厂家,所以模具需要用高质量的模具H. The tool source will generate a Time Line immediately following the reward of the job or receipt of P.O. ; it shall be accurately updated and sent by 12:00 noon every Thursday. I. All materials needed to build the tool, including purchased items, are the responsibility of the vendor to supply unless otherwise specified in writing by E&E Manufacturing. J. Dies are to be designed to feed per E&E Manufacturing engineering specifications. K. Dies must be capable of running at the cycle rate as specified by E&E. In the request for quotation and/or purchase order. L. Parallels are to be supplied to suit press. (Press specification will be furnished by E&E Manufacturing.) Fork width opening will be determined during die design review. M. One (1) complete set of replacements for purchased punches, pilots and buttons are to be shipped with die. Etch with E&E job numbering system if possible. Perishable/Purchased Tooling as defined during Die Design review process. A Perishable Tooling Book including a Perishable Tooling List (page one) followed by drawings of each perishable component to correlate with the list must be supplied with aforementioned set of replacements upon receipt of tool at E&E. N. All perishable details, such as cutting and forming sections are to be completely detailed to allow for interchanging. 1. Detail prints are to be updated as changes are made during assembly and tryout.所有的易损件,比如切边,成形部件要完全说明其材质等详细信息以便互换。 O. Details that are cut on E.D.M. or C.N.C. machines are to: 1. Tooling to be designed with 100% detailed drawings 100%设计并提供完整详细的零件图Q. Die design must have the following information: 模具设计必须包含以下信息1. Vendors name 供应商的名字2. Stock Size: (thickness, width and progression) must be on the die design 材料尺寸(料厚,宽,步距)3. E&E Manufacturing tool number E&E模具号4. Part name 品名5. Part number 品番 S. A complete up to date set of tracings (original die design, details, stock list and list of purchased details and complete copy on CD or Disk) are to be submitted to the Engineering Department 所有的模具设计图档,零件购买件清单等都必须呈交E&E公司T. Plan of punch, die, cross sections and details must be drawn to full scale, when practical. 上下模具平面图,横截面图,零件图需用全比例,如果实际的话。 U. Commercial four (4) post ball bearing die sets are to be used. 请用四个滚珠型导柱导套V. Appropriate size eye bolt holes (for total weight of die) are to be placed In each face (front and back) of each half, not less than 3.0 inch from the end and to balance tool. 模具上下模前后都要有吊环螺栓孔,从后面不少于3.0英寸,来平衡模具。W. Part(s) must fall free of dies, pushing with strip and or air blow is not acceptable. 产品无毛刺,压印,X. Pitch registry must be maintained by the use of pilots. A positive stop may be used when necessary per E&E approval. Y. Provisions must be made for: 1. E&E Manufacturing Co., Inc. stamp (vendor ID) 2. Product part number stamp, when required. 3. Lot control number, usually a date stamp. 4. R & L stamps for dies that produce right hand and left hand parts.E&E 公司名刻印,产品品番刻印,受控号,及日期刻印,左右件的刻印Z. Thickness of punch shoe and die shoe must correspond with process and size of die. Punch shoe 2 minimum. Die shoe 2-1/2 minimum. 上下模具的厚度需和模具的尺寸保持一致,上模座最小2”,模座2-1/2最小AA. All non-functional edges are to be broken, to prevent injury to maintenance personnel during service. 所有的没有用的尖边移除,以便操作人员受伤。 BB. Clearance holes in lower die for pilots to be 2.5 times material thickness plus pilot diameter. Spring-loaded Vlier pins are required at all pilots. 下模导正的让位孔为材料厚度的2.54倍加上导正的直径。EE. Provisions must be made for adequate separation of parts and scrap. Scrap should be shed cleanly from die and must not exceed 12 inches in length. 产品和废料必须分离,废料必须从模具里顺利干净地掉出来,而且长度不能超过12英寸II. Rear stock guides to be doweled parallel to centerline of die, front guides are to be adjustable. 后面的导料块和和销固定到模具的中心线上,前面的导料块为可调节的JJ. Adequate scrap and part removal chutes shall be incorporated to the die. KK. Chicago screws are not acceptable. 不接受Chicago螺丝LL. Careful consideration will be given to screw and dowel size. MM. Shims are not acceptable. 不允许有垫片NN. All dies are required to have one set of E&E Manufacturing press locators, per E&E Manufacturing standard (see sketch) 所有的模具都需有一个E&E 制造公司的冲床定位,请看标准(有草图)1. E&E Manufacturing to provide (4) plastic tags for tool number. 为模具号提供四个朔料标签QQ. All dies over 120 long and weight of over 15,000 lbs should be split and tied together. E&E Manufacturing will review during strip layout. 模具超过120”长,15000磅的模具可以分块再组装,在提交料跳图时E&E公司会审核II. Die Submission 模具提交A. Upon completion of strip design, two (2) copies will be sent to E&E Manufacturing, (1) copy used to mark changes, signed with preliminary approval and returned to the vendor so design can continue 料条图设计完成后,需提供两份给E&E公司,一份用来做修改标记,然后返回模具供应商继续设计1. Strip layout to include station number and description of operation per station 料条图需提供工站数及工艺描述2. 50% & Final strip design, must be submitted and approved by E&E Manufacturing, engineering team prior to any die design. 50% 设计图需提交给客户审核并认可B. Following completion of die design, one (1) set of designs will be submitted to E&E Manufacturing for approval. Upon approval, a Buy Off Sheet will be completed. The concerns needing to be addressed prior to tool build will be listed on this sheet. Upon settlement and concurrence of these issues, the Buy Off Sheet gives authorization to begin tool build, unless otherwise stated. 1. No work will begin on the die until final design approval is received from E&E Manufacturing Engineering Team. III. Die Standards 模具标准A. Die Sets 模座1. Four (4) post die sets shall not be symmetrical; one (1) pin must be off-set. 模座上的四个导柱需为对称的,有一个必须为2. Large progressive dies will have heel blocks to counteract thrust of form stations.大型的顺送模需用靠刀B. Die Details 模具零件1. Die details (including standard punches, buttons, retainers, etc.) must be stamped or permanently marked with detail number, tool number, material type and hardness. 模具零件(包括标准的冲头,镶件,固定器等)都必须刻印标识详细的编号,模具编号,材料类型,硬度2. Welded die steels are to be replaced. 不允许有焊接3. Die life on all cutting steels to minimum .375 depending on material thickness. 4. All die steels are to have jack screws. 所有的模板用拔牙螺丝5. All button retainers should be hardened (no soft cold roll retainers). 所有的镶件固定器要加硬(不是软料冷轧钢的固定器)6. Die buttons are required for all pierced holes where applicable. 所有冲孔的地方都要用到模具镶件7. All die buttons to be key retained for easy removal. 模具镶件要加键,方便轻松移动8. All holes in die sections shall be located at minimum distances from the edge of sections or form edges to avoid weak areas. 以防薄弱的区域,模板上所有的孔,必须位于从成形的边缘至少的距离9. All cutting die sections, that are not accessible for grinding, must either be split or have a spare supplied. 所有不方便研磨的零件都需分开加工10. All tapped holes must have sufficient chamfer and be free of tap shavings 所有攻牙的孔必须有漂亮的倒角C. Punch Details 1. Welded punch steels are to be replaced. 焊接的地方需换新的2. Punches and upper trim steels must be staggered in height or have shear 1.5 times material thickness. 冲头及上模切边零件需在高度上错位,并且冲裁为材料厚度的1.5倍。 3. All punch steels and retainers are to have jack screws. 所有的冲头及固定器用拔牙螺丝4. All punch retainers should be hardened (no cold roll retainers). 所欲的固定器需加硬(不是冷轧的固定器)8. Punches with similar but different point sizes must be fool proofed by using different shank sizes. Buttons will be fool proofed by different ODs or keys. 相似的冲头防呆,13. Blank punches to have ejector pins. 下料冲头必须有顶料销。14. Ejector pins are required at each pilot. Vliers are acceptable. 每个地方的导正必须要有顶料销15. Punch details must be error proofed with non symmetrical dowel positions 所有的冲头必须为球锁冲头。 D. Form Stations and Details 成形1. Severe forming operations (where galling of high wear is possible) are to be made out of D-2 air hard tool steel and hot Ti-coat (TC-7) or Multi Arc (Ibon 5) unless otherwise specified in writing by E&E Manufacturing Engineering. 一些成形零件(能高耐磨),用D-2材料和热镀钛处理,除非其它的指定。 2. Binder rings on draw dies or in progressive form stations will have balancing blocks 9. Balancing blocks mounted on or which come in contact with sliding surfaces are not acceptable.E. Strippers 1. Neoprene strippers are unacceptable. 橡胶的脱料板是不接受的2. Strippers must have windows to provide removal of cutting punches in the press. 3. Windows must be fabricated with 脱料板必须提供窗口一边切边冲头在冲床上的移动4. a base material of 4140 (or equivalent) and hardened to a Rockwell C of 43-54. 4140材料(或相似的材料)需加硬到“C” 43-545. For safe handling strippers must have tapped holes for eye bolts that are appropriate to the size of the stripper. 为列脱料板的安全起吊,脱料板攻合适的吊环螺栓孔。 6. Strippers are to be retained with self-lubricating or greaseable keepers and heels. 脱料板必须用自润滑的夹板或靠刀7. All working strippers will have ball cages, or self lubricating bushings, and pins to maintain location as well as heels and keepers. 用自润滑的导柱,导套8. Where cams have to be fabricated, self-lubricating graphite impregnated wear plates are required. Positive returns on manufactured cams. 需要用自润滑的耐磨板3. Cams and slides shall have grease fittings. G. Die Springs 1. Die springs are not to exceed manufacturers recommended deflection. 弹簧不能超过供应商提供的偏移2. Die springs are to be pocketed, piloted and caged throughout the die. 弹簧要沉头,导正并用弹簧套盖住. 3. All spring pockets must have a minimum drain hole in top or bottom. 所有的弹簧沉头在上下要有排除孔4. All spring pockets must have a minimum of .045 chamfer. 所欲的弹簧沉头需有.045的倒角H. Nitrogen Cylinders 氮气气缸1. Nitrogen cylinders are preferred over die springs unless otherwise specified. Standard sources of Dadco or Standfast or E&E Manufacturing approved equivalent. 氮气气缸用Dadco或Standfast牌子的2. Nitrogen springs, used in form stations, must have a manifold or be plumbed together and have a pressure gauge. 成形站的氮气弹簧用座板式的3. When a nitrogen manifold or plumbing is used, the recommended operating pressure must be stamped on the side of the manifold block, charging block and die set. 4. Where cylinders are used, preload is unacceptable. 5. 1/8 safety clearance is the minimum required.I. Stop Blocks 限位柱1. All dies must have stop blocks. 所有的模具都必须有限位柱2. All (4) stop blocks are to be mounted over parallels or riser. 3. 四个限位柱都安装在垫板之上4. Stop blocks are to be set at the minimum stock thickness. 限位柱要能放置一个料厚5.
