Teaching plan Module 2 my familyTeaching aims of this unit: 知识目标:能运用指示代词和名词所有格 通过复习,能运用人称代词的主格形式和形容词形物主代词 能四会下列词语: brother, family, father, mother, parent, sister,son, these, they, mum, left, dad, right, who, woman, next, next to, front, in front of, those, we, an, job, at, man, its, their 能理解下列词语:aunt, cousin, daughter, grandfather, grandmother, grandparent, uncle, photo, husband, bus, station, worker, shop 能识别并正确朗读三个音标: 技能目标:能听懂有关家庭介绍的简短对话 ,辨认对话中的人物关系。 能有指示代词来介绍自己的家庭,询问他人的家庭情况。 能阅读关于介绍人物职业和中作地点的的简单文章 能写出简短的句子来介绍家庭成员,宾能正确运用大小写以及句号。情感态度与价值观目标:培养对家庭的热爱以及对家庭成员的关心,培养对家庭不幸的同学的地同情和理 解。Subject: English Class: Class One, Grade SevenDate: September 23rd, 2012 Teacher: Topic: Unit 1 Is this your mum?Class type: Listening and speakingTeaching method: Bottom-up approachStudying aims: To understand the conversation of family members. Motivate the class. Stand in different places on the left or right and ask if its the left or right of the class.Step 4 Task One: talk about Tonys familyTell the Ss that you want them to think of as many family members as they can.Tell them to look at words in the box in activity 1 and decide which category they go in.Ask them to find the people in the picture.Ask them to point to the people and make sentences. (this is Tonys father. These are Tonys parents.)Elicit some sentences from the whole class.Step 5 Task Two: Listening - Listen and check in activity 1the people Tony mentions Ask the Ss to read the words first and guess which words they think they will hear. Play the recording and tell them to put a check next to the names of family members in the box Call back answers from the whole class.Step 6 Task Three : Listening and speaking Find out what the students know about positions using words and phrases: next to, in front of, on the left, on the right. Ask students to look at the picture of Tonys family in the book .work in pairs and ask where people are. (e.g. wheres Tonys mother?) Elicit the answers from the whole class with students by asking and answering Play the recording , check in pairs Read after the recording together first. Then Read it in groups. Speaking Do Activity 3 by themselves first. Check their answers in pairs.Step 7 Speaking Make some new dialogs in pairs. Show their dialogs. Ask sb. to find another partner to make a new dialog.Step 8 Checking Do Activity 5 without the given words to see if they master the main idea of the conversation.Step 9 Sum upStep 10 Homework : Listen and read the conversation till can learn it by heart. Speaking Ask somebody to say something according to the table. E.g. Bettys father is an actor and he works in the theatre. Step 5 Task Two: Writing Look at the pictures and write sentences. (Activity 6) Check in pairs and then call back answers from the whole class. Solve the problems. Ask them to read aloud. Write sentences about your family. Ask the Ss to write at least five sentences about their family. Encourage them to say the important sentences and the phrases. Ask them to sum up the grammar about how to use this, that, these, those Activity One: Speaking Look at the pictures and talk about the families (Activity 1) Ask them to look at the pictures, introduce a person by saying “this is and this is his/her family. She/he is a(n)” Elicit an example of an introduction from the class. Put students in groups of three or four to ask about the pictures. Students call back the appropriate pronoun he or possessive word his. Demonstrate this.
