Author 2, b1, 2 Microtechnology Lab, Institute, City, STATE/Province, COUNTRYa , b Keywords: CSMNT, Guidance, FormatAbstract: These instructions give you guidance and explain how to prepare your paper for publication in the 2st International Conference of CSMNT. They include guidance on format descriptions, main body and references. It is highly advised to use this format to prepare your paper in Microsoft Word.1. IntroductionThe 1st International Conference of Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology will be held in Xian, China, on 22-24 October, 2010. The conference will bring together top researchers from around the world to exchange research results and address open issues in all aspects of Micro-Nano technology. The topics covered by the conference include, but are not limited to: 1. Micro/ Nanofabrication Technologies2. Micro-Nano Sensors and Actuators3. Microfluidic Devices and Systems4. Micro/Nano Heat Transfer5. Micro-Nano Electro-Mechanical System and Applications6. Nano Material Research7. Nanobiology/ Nanomedicine8. Nano Robot Technology/ Nanoassembly9. Nanotube/ Nanowire Devices10. Biology-Nano- Informatics Fusion11. Micropower Technology12. Micro-Nano Industrialization13. Other Related Techniques and ApplicationsThe manuscript is limited to 4 pages (either A4 Standard or US Standard 8.5 x 11 inches). Please do not use a font size smaller than 10.5pt. Please make sure that all figures and photographs are clearly visible.Your paper should be prepared in the following orders: Introduction to explain the background work, the practical applications and the nature and purpose of the paper, Methods to contain the primary message, with clear lines of thought and validation of the “techniques” described, Summary, Acknowledgements (if necessary), References.2 Format Descriptions2.1 LayoutYour paper should be typed on A4 paper (297 210 mm) and in Times New Roman throughout. The sizes of the margins are 20mm for left/right, 20mm for top and 15mm for bottom. 2.2 Title and author informationThe title page contains three sections: the identification of the Conference, the title of the paper, and the identification of the authors. The conference identification, as shown on the top of this page, should be typed in 9pt. The title of the paper should be typed in 14pt, boldface, and centered. The name(s) should be centered, and typed in 10.5pt. 2.3 KeywordsThe keywords should be typed in 10.5pt. The heading is boldface, followed by a colon (:). The first word for each keyword must start with a capital letter. To allow easy indexing in bibliographic databases, 3-7 keywords spaced by comma (,) should be given. 2.4 AbstractThe abstract should be 10.5pt, written in English, and be 150300 words. The heading is boldface. The purpose is to give a very general overview of the contents of the paper. 3 Main body3.1 TextText is typically 10.5pt and justified, otherwise as indicated. Reference numbers should be placed in square brackets , and placed before the punctuation; for example 4 or 1-3, and all the references should be listed separately and as the last section at the end of the manuscript.3.2 Mathematic text and equationsWhen numbering equations, enclose numbers in parentheses. For equation variables, numbers, and physical symbol, indexes etc. follow SPIE usage. += (1)3.2 Figures and tablesAuthors are encouraged to prepare figures and schemes in color.Tables should be inserted into the main text, and numbers and titles for all tables supplied. All table columns should have an explanatory heading.Please supply legends for all figures, schemes and tables. The legends should be prepared as a separate paragraph of the main text, typed in 9pt, centered and placed in the main text before a table and after a figure or a scheme. Fig 1, Fig 2, Tab 1 and Tab 2, etc should be given. The legends should begin with a capital letter. All inside lettering should be 9pt.Fig 1. Reflections on xxxxxxTab 1.
