However，owing to their limitations of English，many of the applicants have to translate them from the elaborated Chinese version-a roundabout way to success.I. Under the instruction of my teacher, I chose paulownia as the basic material of the frame of my glider models. I was really impressed by the unique characteristics of this material. Light and strong, the paulownia wood made itself the best choice to construct the plane models. In order to improve its texture, I learned to brush a coat of resin onto the material to make it stronger, and then cut the wood hollow and add a thin-film paper to make the construction even tighter. This model plane is, as it were, the first composite material I have ever made and this experience vaguely aroused my initial interests in developing and promoting materials.
