You will be very lucky if he lets you go without a ticket. However, this does not always happen. Traffic police are sometimes very polite. During a holiday in Sweden, I found this note on my car: sir, we welcome you to our city. This is a No Parking area. You will enjoy your stay here if you pay attention to our street signs. This note is only a reminder. If you receive a request like this, you cannot fail to obey it! What does the writer think of the polices request?1,引入话题2,听一遍音频,掌握大意。.Translation We have listened the text and now we will have a look at the translation of the text. Learn the Lessson Now lets have a look at the lesson. We will analyse every sentence.1、If you park your car in the wrong place, a traffic policeman will soon find it. One can never know what will happen tomorrow. If you make a journey around the world, youll see many beauty spots. in the wrong place 不合适的地方wrong adj. He is the right person who you are looking for. They met(A met B)in the wrong place at the wrong time. You met the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time.2、You will be very lucky if he lets you go without a ticket.let (sb.) go 放开,释放,使自由, eg. The man wont let go (of) my arm. eg. He is very angry now. He wont let you go easily.without a ticket=without giving you a ticketIf 引导的叫条件句, without后面的名词也叫条件 Without + n. Without water, fish cannot live.2.You will be very lucky if he lets you go without a ticket.let (sb.) go放开,释放,使自由,让(某人)去The man wont let go (of) my arm. He is very angry now. He wont let you go easily.without a ticket=without giving you a ticketIf 引导的叫条件句, without后面的名词也叫条件without+n.如果没有Without water, fish cannot live. Eg. If he is out ,Ill call tomorrow.Eg. Youll miss the train if you dont hurry.Eg. If he is working , I wont disturb him.Eg. If I have time, Ill be writing to him tomorrow. If you make a mistake , correct it .Eg. If you dont like the food , dont eat it .Exercise A:用正确时态填空。1. If it rains (rain),I shall take an umbrella with me.2. If he _(be) here before 10 oclock,I shall see him.3. If he plays well , he _(get) into the team.4. You will never _(pass) this test if you dont work hard .Exercise B: 用正确的时态填空。A mother received a letter from her eight-year-old daughter . Here is part of it: If I _(listen) to the radio, dont tell me to do my homework . If I _(do) something wrong , _(not shout) at me. If the house _(be) untidy , _(not blame) me .If you _(want) me to do something , dont forget (not forget) to say “please”. If I _(play) a nice game , _(not send) me to bed .If I _(ask) for something , dont always say “No!”If it _(be) cold ,_(not put ) the cat out .Dont say “dont” so often!if引导的条件从句指能够发生、可能发生或可能发生过的事件。 .Special difficulties1.Police and Traffic Policetraffic police交通警police n. 警察 n. 警察部门,警方(与the连用)Ring the police if there is a burglary. 警察(复数)The police are questioning a foreign tourist. 如果要单指一名警察,可以用policeman或policewomanThere is a traffic policeman over there. You can ask him the way to the station.2.Pay attention to,Care,Take care of,Look afterpay attention to(思想上)注意pay attention (to sth.)注意n
