说 课 稿 -仁爱版八年级英语Unit2 Topic3 SectionA 说课人 王志军工作单位 大营黄村学校联系电话-mail Good morning,everyoneMy name is Wang Zhijun.I am from Huangcun Village School.Now I will say Section A Topic 3,Unit 2 of Grade 8.This book is published by Hunan Education Press I will prepare to say the lesson from four parts:Part one Analysis of the teaching material Status and functionThis is an important part in this book.On the one hand ,it reviews some modals we have learned .On the other hand, it refers to the usage of some modals in questions.It introduces the serious disease SARS as well.It goes on talking about how to keep healthy.It is also the climax of this unit.Such a topic is related to daily life,so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English. Analysis of the students The students have learned some modals before ,so maybe they will be boring in learning them again.In my opinion,taking effective ways to enable the students to speak is more important.But probably students will be interested in talking about the SARS they have suffered. Teaching aims and demands. Knowledge objects1. Learn some useful words and expressions:hurry, hurry up, question, go ahead, spread, among, do exercise, all the time, keep away (from)2. Go on learning the modal verbs “should” and “must”.3. Master the verb phrase “have to”, “dont have to” and “had better” to build up our bodies.4. Talk about how to fight SARS.Ability objects (1) To develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking and reading. (2) To train the Ss ability of working in pairs or in groups. (3) To develop the Ss abilities of communication by learning the useful structures. The aims of emotionA. To learn to comfort others.B. Learn to give others proper advice. Teaching key and difficult points The teaching key and difficult points basis is established according to Section A of Topic 3 in the teaching materials position and function.1.Key points: (1)Talk about how to fight SARS.(2)To enable the Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully. 2.Difficult points: How to use “must”“have to”correctly in sentences,especially in questions. Teaching Aids Multi-media computer, Tape recorder, Software: Powerpoint. They will be needed in this lesson.Part Two The Teaching Methods 1. Communicative teaching method 2. Audio-visual teaching method 3. Task-based teaching method As we all know,the main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use “Communicative” teaching method, “Audio-visual” teaching method and “Task-based” teaching method. That is to say, Ill let the Ss to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue. Teaching special features :To use these methods are helpful to develop the Ss thought. Part Three Studying Ways 1.Teach the Ss how to be successful language learners. 2.Let the Ss pass ObservationImitationPractice to study language. 3.Teach the Ss how to master dialogues and how to communicate with others. Teaching special features: Let the Ss communicate with each other and adopt competition methods to develop the Ss keen interest in English. Part Four Teaching Procedure Ill finish this section in four steps. First Ill divide the Ss into several groups and bring a competition into the class. At last lets see which group is the winner. Step 1 ReviewShow some pictures about the habits in life.Let the students talk about good habits and bad habits in life ,using the following sentencesWe should We should not We had better We had better not We must We must not Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by imitating and at the same time it is necessary to provide situations to review learned knowledge.Step 2 Presentation Present some pictures about SARS.Say,there was a serious disease in 2003,what was it ?Help the students answer SARS.Then present some sentences while saying them under the pictures to recall something happened in 2003.When SARS came, we were told to wash hands often,keep the room clean and open the windows all the time.The parents and doctors also told us to do more exercise,keep away from wild animals,and wed better not go to the crowded places.Right?Underline the verb phrases.Let the students try to read the sentences once to understand these sentences.Purpose of my designing:Help the students have a primary understanding of the new lesson that refers.Let the students listen to 1a,and answer some questions: What does kangkangs father do ? What do you know about SARS? What should we do to fight it ?Let students read 1a and find out the items they dont understand .Invite one student explain the questions and check the studentsanswers.Teach the new words and phrases:hurry up,journalist,question,go ahead,finally.Master hurry up,question,go ahead .Play the tape recorder. Let the Ss listen again and imitate the dialogue. Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. In this step the Ss are required to practise the dialog in pairs by reading the dialogue aloud. This step is employed to make the Ss grasp the dialog further .At last Ill ask the Ss in groups to think hard and act it out according to example as follows: Then find out which group will act it out well. Ill give them red stars. (Example:A:May I ask you some questions?B:Sure,go ahead.A:What should we do to fight SARS?B:We should eat healthy food.C:We should do more excises to build our bodies up.D:We should keep our rooms clean and often open the windows.B:We should not go to croweded places.C:We should go to see a doctor if we dont feel well. Encourage the students to say the dialog fluently .Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss get the general idea of the dialogue as a whole one. At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practise their listening and spoken abilities. Step3 ConsolidationLet the students think up more good ideas to prevent SARS.Then finish 1b according to the tape.Present the answers through the PPT.This step is to improve the studentslistening and speaking abilities and to consolidate what they have learned.Step4 PracticeLet the students look at the pictures carefully in 2.Then finish the blanks alone.Invite some students to say their answers and check them.Let the students work in pairs to finish 1c.Act the dialogs out .Master the usage of “must”and“have to”.Explain them if necessary.Encourage the students to make the other new dialogs according to the dailogs in 1c.Then invite some pairs to present them.Purpose of my designing:Let the students try to experience the difficult points by speaking and observing. “Task-based” teaching method is used here to develop the Ss ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained. If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English. Finish the Ss workbook. Pur
