Encourage students to make bigger progress.课堂教学方案板书设计讲述要点Step I Exercises in Test AStep IIReading skills :猜测词义阅读中遇到生词,对理解无大碍者可一跃而过。只有难以推测的生词才借助词典。但过多依赖词典会打断阅读思路,影响速度及理解,这就需要学生学会猜词。可这不是说平时阅读一涉及到生词便去猜测,如有条件使用词典,同学们还是应该将不会的生词一一查明,并加以记忆。只有这样才能扩充我们的词汇量,提高阅读理解能力。 猜词可有多种方法,下面介绍几种常用且准确性高的方法。一、利用上下文线索猜测词义。1.根据同义、反义关系猜词。Todays teenagers seem to be more liberal in their ideas than their _ grandparents.A. freethinking B. traditionalC. old D. happytraditional与liberal意思相反,故选B。2.根据句意或段落文章的上、下文猜测词义。Klebold and Harris felt _ and wanted to revenge against those who disliked playingtogether with them or laughed at them.A. discouraged B. ashamedC. tired D. separated根据下文的disliked playing together with them判断此处应为感到孤立,故选D。二、利用构词法猜测词义。此法包括利用前、后缀及合成词猜测词义。1.用前、后缀猜测词义。英语中的前缀、后缀构词颇多,且特定的缀往往表示特定的含义,把握住这一点,可起到以不变应万变的效果。1)He had been overworking and fell ill at last.overwork是由前缀over-加动词构成,over有超过,过于之意,overwork意思是工作过多,劳累过度。再如,overburden负担过重,overcharge要价过高,overdo做得过分。英语中常用的前缀还有:mis-错,误:misfortune不幸;mislead误导;mismanage处理不当mid-中央:midnight半夜;midway半路under-低于:underdone半生不熟的;underestimate低估anti-反对:antibody抗体;anticyclone反气旋;antifreeze防冻剂下面划线单词为常见后缀派生词:1)You must stop dreaming and face reality.(-ty为名词的标志)2)The country is trying to popularize education. Encourage students to make bigger progress.课堂教学方案板书设计讲述要点Section IIIGrammar:非谓语动词-不定式动词不定式:(to)+do,具有名词、形容词、副词的特征.否定式:not + (to) do(1)一般式:不定式的一般式所表示的动作与谓语动词动作同时发生或发生在谓语动词动作之后.例如:Im glad to meet you.He seems to know a lot.We plan to pay a visit.He wants to be an artist.The patient asked to be operated on at once.The teacher ordered the work to be done.(2)进行式:不定式的进行式所表示的动作与谓语动词动作同时发生,例如:The boy pretended to be working hard.He seems to be reading in his room.(3)完成式:不定式的完成式表示的动作发生在谓语动词动作之前,例如:I regretted to have told a lie.I happened to have seen the film.He is pleased to have met his friend.2不定式的句法功能:(1)作主语:To finish the work in ten minutes is very hard.To lose your heart means failure.动词不定式短语作主语时,常用it作形式主语,真正的主语不定式置于句后,例如上面两句可用如下形式:It is very hard to finish the work in ten minutes.It means failure to lose your heart.常用句式有:1、It+be+名词+to do。2、It takes sb.+some time+to do。3、It+be+形容词+of sb +to do。4、It+be+形容词+for sb.+to do。常用careless,clever,good,foolish,honest,kind,lazy,nice,right,silly,stupid,wise,等表示赞扬或批评的形容词,不定式前的sb.可作其逻辑主语。(2)作表语:Her job is to clean the hall.He appears to have caught a cold.(3)作宾语:常与不定式做宾语连用的动词有:want, hope, wish, offer, fail, plan, learn, pretend, refuse, manage, help, agree, promise, prefer, 如果不定式(宾语)后面有宾语补足语,则用it作形式宾语,真正的宾语(不定式)后置,放在宾语补足语后面,例如:Marx found it important to study the situation in Russia.动词不定式也可充当介词宾语,如:I have no choice but to stay here.He did nothing last Sunday but repair his bike.动词不定式前有时可与疑问词连用,如:He gave us some advice on how to learn English.(4)作宾语补足语:在复合宾语中,动词不定式可充当宾语补足语,如下动词常跟这种复合宾语:want, wish, ask, tell, order, beg, permit, help, advise, persuade, allow, prepare, cause, force, call on, wait for, invite.此外,介词有时也与这种复合宾语连用,如:With a lot of work to do, he didnt go to the cinema有些动词如make, let, see, watch, hear, feel, have等与不带有to的不定式连用,但改为被动语态时,不定式要加to, 如:I saw him cross the road.He was seen to cross the road.(5)作定语:动词不定式作定语,放在所修饰的名词或代词后。与所修饰名词有如下关系:动宾关系:I have a meeting to attend.注意:不定式为不及物动词时,所修饰的名词如果是地点、工具等,应有必要的介词,如:He found a good house to live in.The child has nothing to worry about.What did you open it with?如果不定式修饰time, place, way,可以省略介词:He has no place to live.This is the best way to work out this problem.如果不定式所修饰名词是不定式动作承受者,不定式可用主动式也可用被动式:Have you got anything to send?Have you got anything to be sent?说明所修饰名词的内容:We have made a plan to finish the work.被修饰名词是不定式逻辑主语:He is the first to get here.(6)作状语:表目的:He worked day and night to get the money.She sold her hair to buy the watch chain.注意不定式放句首时,逻辑主语与句子主语要一致:wrong:To save money, every means has been tried.right:To save money, he has tried every means.wrong:To learn English well, a dictionary is needed.right:To learn English well, he needs a dictionary.表结果(往往是与预期愿望相反的结果):He arrived late only to find the train had gone.I visited him only to find him out.表原因:They were very sad to hear the news.表程度:Its too dark for us to see anything.The question is simple for him to answer.(7)作独立成分:To tell you the truth, I dont like the way he talked.(8)不定式的省略:保留to省略do动词。If you dont want to do it, you dont need to.(9)不定式的并列:第二个不定式可省略to。He wished to study medicine and become a doctor.廊坊东方职业技术学院授 课 教 案课程名称大学英语总学时96授课班级14 运管1, 2, 3 授课时间第4周第2次课教学内容Unit 2 Health教学目标 1.Knowledge Objective:To know the culture& knowledge of health and master some useful expressions.2.Ability Objective:To cultivate the students self-learning ability and their motivation to use English.3.Emotional Objective:To stimulate the students enthusiasm to learn and use English in daily life.教学重点The useful words and expressions.Culture& knowledge of health教学难点Make up a new dialogue and have a role play.授课方法Heuristic method, interactive teaching, multi-level teaching, presentation and drill, role-play.复习提问1. Encourage students to make bigger progress.课堂教学方案板书设计讲述要点Section IV Applied WritingOrder 订单英文订单写作的注意问题 1. 文体介绍 订货(order)是买方为要求供应具体数量的货物而提出的一种要求。此时,交易双方之间的陌生感已消除,可以说已经度过了接触障碍和难关。 英文订单写作应注意以下几点: (1)英文订单写作开头就直接说明订购的意图。 (2)英文订单一般应包括:商品的名称、品质、数量、包装、价格条件、支付条件以及需要对方提供的单据等。 (3)英文订单内容必须准确、清楚。不论是商品的价格还是商品的规格都应做到准确无误,否则会带来不必要的损失与麻烦。 卖方收到英文订单电子邮件后必须进行确认。如果卖方无法提供买方所需要的货物,则最好介绍一些合适的替代品;如果买方所需货物的价格和规格发生了变化,卖方则提出还价并劝买方接受,但要注意:写拒绝接受订货的信时,必须非常谨慎,应为日后有可能的交易留下余地。 2.英文订单写作实用范例 (1) Subject: An order Gentlemen: The price quotes contained in your E-mail of May 20,2002 gained favorable attention with us. We would like to order the following items consisting of various colors, patterns and assortments: Large 2000 dozen Medium 4000 dozen Small 2000 dozen As the sales season is approaching, the total order quantity should be shipped in July.
