(2) -Can you sing? -Yes, I can. / No, I cant.【发现】can为情态动词,意为“能;会;可以”,表示能力或许可,后面直接跟动词原形,主语单复数均可。变为否定句时,在can后面加上否定词not即可,可缩写为cant;变为一般疑问句则是把can放在句首并把首字母变大写。【Exercise】用情态动词can的适当形式填空。(1) I _ sing.(2) -_ he swim? -No, he _cant_.(3) They _ dance. But they _ speak English. They dont know English.2)动词play的用法【观察】(1) I can play chess. (2) Can you play the guitar? When / What time do you go to school? I go to school at seven oclock. 询问钟表所显示的时间时,只能用what time。 e.g. What time is it? (=Whats the time) 几点了? Its eight thirty.八点半。 询问事件发生的年份、月份、日期等非非钟点性时间时,只能用when, 而不能用what time。e.g. When is your birthday? My birthday is February 6th. When is Teachers Day? Its September 10th.总结: What time 几点了?准确到分,When 的范围比较大。2)from.to.的用法【观察】From twelve oclock at night to six oclock in the morning. 从晚上十二点到早上六点。【发现】“from.to.”意为“从.到.”链接两个不同的数词,也可链接两个不同的名词或两个不同的地点副词,前后一般是一致的。 We go to school from Monday to Friday. 我们从周一到周五都上学。 How far is it from Nanjing to Shanghai? 南京到上海多远?3)and, but, or和so的辨析and意为“和,而”,表示并列,常用语肯定句中。Lily and I are students.我和莉莉都是学生。but意为“但是,然而”表示转折。He is poor, but he is honest.他很穷,但很诚实。or意为和,而且,表连接关系,但用于否定句;它还有或者的意思,任何句都适用She doesnt like singing or dancing. 她既不喜欢唱歌也不喜欢跳舞。Lets go, or else well miss the train. 我们走吧,否则就赶不上火车了。so意为所以,因此,表因果关系,任何句都适用Class is over, so I go home. 下课了,因此我回家了【自主检测】I、精挑细选 1Do you often _ TV?A. see B. watch C. look2.
