Teachers and studentsactivities :The teacher shows the first question above.let students discuss about it.The school holidays ended just now,so students can have lots of words to tell each others,The topic is connected with the article.If students tell about doing a good thing.Teacher will give them a funny picture and praise them.Then ask the second question.Throw out the topic of the article:voluntary work Purpose : Using their familiar topic to make students interested in article.Then throw out the topic and explain what voluntary work is .something you do without being paid to help people in need.Step 2 New lesson 2 minutes Content : What are the names of the three teenagers ? What did they offer to do during the school holidays? Teachers and studentsactivities : After reading the title ,instruction and the signatures ,Students answer the questions above,Teacher leads students into the main article. Teachers and studentsactivities : Teacher raises the topic .Students discuss about it in groups and share ideas orally.Teacher gives the example.Teacher plays the English song Proud of you ,Playing while explaining why. Purpose : This part is for good students,But beautiful English songs are nice for them all,Proud of you is familiar to them,let more students taste Englishs beauty. Step 7 Brainstorm 8 minutesContent : What should we do to help those in need ?
