New words :mood, sleepy, represent, relaxed, harmony, sadness, calm, stressed, purity, wedding, satisfied, climate, prefer, remind, wisdom, growth, envy, jealous, physical, mental, strength, heat, difficulty, decision (学法指导:多听多读)2. They are calm colours, warm colours, energetic colours and strong colours.2) T: Ask some students to read the passage, and try to understand the sentences: a) This report explains what colours can do and what characteristics they represent.b) Wearing blue clothes or sleeping in a blue room is good for our mind and body becausethis colour creates a feeling of harmony.c) People living in cold climates prefer to use warm colours in their homes to create a warmand comfortable feeling there.d) Anyone in need of physical or mental strength should wear red clothes.e) Wearing red can also make it easier for you to take action.3) Finish the exercises on P28 B1 and check the answers together 4) T:Ask the students to read the passage carefully and loudly by themselves and then answer the questions:a) What colour represents sadness?b) What moods can both blue and white create?c) What colours do people live in cold areas prefer to use in their homes? Why?d) Does green represent different characteristics? What are they?
