Boys and girls ,suppose Im your new English teacher, Ill introduce myself first. Listen carefully , then ask and answer about my introduction.e.g.Im Miss Huang. Im a woman. Im twenty-six . Im thin. Im tall. I have a new book.2. P-P practice in paris: e.g. Who is she ? She is Miss Huang. How old is she? She is twenty-six. Is she tall? Yes. 3. Students listen and follow in their books .2. Play the cassette again. Students listen and repeat.3. Teacher shows the pictures of the text. Encourage the students to say something about them. And the students may add something about their imagination.4. Have students take out the photographs of their friends,get prepaired to say something about their friend. Students also can form groups to discuss them.5. Invite individual students and pairs of students tell the class about their friends.6. Have students look at the frame work provided in Think and write . Encourage students to circle the relevant words and provide necessary information. Ask students to use a pencil and write on their books. Consolidation1. Copy the text twice.2. Learn Picture1 and picture 2: Look at the wallpicture and listen to the tape. Students try to repeat it. Learn the word strong: Say the word after the teacherRead the word and act it .Make sentences using this word.Students do pair work to talk about these two pictures.3. Learn picture3 and picture 4.
