Let some Ss read their compositions in the last homework.e.g.This is my bedroom. There is a bed, a bookshelf, a chair, a desk and so on. There are a lot of books on the bookshelf. There is a computer on the desk2. The whole class answer the teachers questions using “there be” structure.T: Whats on the desk? (Show one book.)Ss: There is a book on it.T: Now, what are on the desk? There is a lamp near the sofa.T: And whatre these?Ss: Pictures! There are some pictures on the wall.T: Whats that?Ss: Window! There is a window in the wall. 2. Describe the pictures using “There is / are .”.3. Look at the picture in 1a and answer the following questions.(1) Whats on the desk?(2) Where is the clock? But there is one next to my family photo on the wall.但是墙上全家福旁边有一个(挂钟)。(1) one此处指代上文提到的a clock。one可用来泛指上下文提及的同类事物中的一个,同类而非同一,只能代替单数可数名词,复数时用ones来代替。e.g. My bike is broken. I need to buy a new one. 我的自行车坏了,我需要买一台新的。(2) on the wall在墙体外部表面上e.g. There is a picture on the wall. 在墙上有一张画。拓展:in the wall在墙体里e.g. There is a window in the wall. 在墙上有一扇窗户。2. There are so many books on the shelves. 书架上有许多书。so many=too many 意为“许多”,后接可数名词的复数形式。e.g. There are so many / too many students in the hall. 大厅里有许多学生。拓展:so much=too much意为“许多”,后接不可数名词。e.g. There is so much / too much water on the floor. 地上有许多水。【设计意图】呈现本课重要知识点,帮助学生掌握相关知识。Work on 1c1. Work in pairs and practice 1a. 2. Let Ss make up a new conversation about the study, bedroom, living room or other rooms in their home with the following structures.e.g. A: Where is?B: It is .A: Is/Are there?B: Yes, there is/are. Whats in front of the classroom?in front of 表示在某人或某物的前面,指自身以外的前面;而in the front of 表示在某物的内部的前面。e.g. There is a tree in front of my house. 在我家房子前有一棵树(外部的前面)。There is a blackboard in the front of the classroom. 在教室前面有一块黑板(内部的前面)。4. Ask and answer questions about the other two pictures in pairs. 5. Some pairs act out the conversations.【设计意图】对Is/are there?进行对话操练并掌握方位介词的用法。Work on 31. Put them away, please. 别把它们(钥匙)放在那儿。请把它们收起来放好。(1) Dont put them there. 是否定形式的祈使句。其句型结构为 “Dont +动词原形”,意为“不要,别”。e.g. Dont be late for school. 上学别迟到。(2) put them away 意为“将收起”,是及物动词+副词构成的动词短语。宾语是人称代词时用宾格,代词必须放在动词与副词中间,如果宾语是名词,即可放中间也可放后面。e.g. put your books away = put away your books put them away 不可以说成put away them 【设计意图】讲解重要语言点,帮助学生掌握相关知识。TestI. 单项选择1.
