(Section A)【教学内容】1a, 1b, 2, 3.【授课时间】45分钟【设计简述】本课题是仁爱版八年级英语上册Unit1 Topic 1 Are you going to play basketball? (Section A)的教学设计。其指导思想是依据新课标,通过促进学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养的整体发展来培养学生综合语言运用能力。新课标提倡“面向全体学生,为学生全面发展和终身发展奠定基础”,本着“学生为课堂主体”的指导思想,按照新课标提倡的“强调学生学习过程,倡导体验参与”的基本理论进行教学设计。现在初中英语教学应该要注重语言学习的过程,通过任务型教学设计等各种强调学习过程的语言教学途径和方法。任何人类语言的交际活动都离不开一定的语言环境。著名语言学家布鲁姆指出:“成功的外语课堂教学,应在课内创造更多真实的生活情景,让学生有机会运用自己学到的语言材料”。因此,首先要努力创设真实自然的社会语言情景。不仅要借助手式、动作、表情、实物、图片等手段为学生创设贴近教材内容的直观情景,而且要用语言的声调、节奏、情感等描述创设言语情景。鼓励学生在教师的指导下,通过体验、实践、参与、探究和合作等方式,发现语言的规律,逐步掌握语言知识和技能。其次,要在课堂上及时肯定和表扬学生的进步以增强学生的信心,对各个层次的学生设计不同难度的问题来尽量鼓励学生开口。【教材分析】本课是一堂口语课,学习对象为八年级生。要求学生能在课堂活动中用简短的英语进行交际;能听懂接近正常语速、熟悉话题的语段,识别主题,获取主要信息,并且能就熟悉的话题进行简单的交流,并进行几个回合的交谈,能用简单的语言谈论自己喜欢的运动,能在教师的指导下参与角色扮演等活动。本课的教学内容以Section A 1a,2and3. 主要学习新句型 (1)I saw you play basketball almost every day during the summer holidays. (2)Would you like to come and cheer us on?(3)We are going to have a basketball game against Class Three on Sunday. (4)Are you going to join the school rowing club? (5)Which sport do you prefer, cycling or rowing? I prefer rowing.本课涉及的相关知识主要是be going to 表示的一般将来时时的陈述句和一般疑问句,以及谈论自己喜欢的运动、一些运动的名称和计划。在设计本课时,我对原教材内容和教学顺序作了调整。 首先我通过PPT展示一些运动图片,然后自然而然地用PPT展示两个卡通人物谈论他们喜欢的运动,也就是Section A 的part 2 (-Which sport do you prefer, cycling or rowing? I prefer rowing. Do you row much? -Yes, quite a bit/ a lit. / No, seldom. Are you going to join the school rowing club? Yes, I am. /No, Im not. Im going to .), 再是1a、1b、 part3。重点将谈论喜欢的运动整合在每个教学环节中,利用PPT增加了让学生在具体情境中来操练量,让学生有更多发挥的空间,创造口语练习的条件。【学情分析】对于八年级第一学期的学生来说,在经过小学和七年级一年的英语学习,已经具备了一定的英语基础。他们已经掌握了一般现在时态,少量运动方面的词汇和有关喜好的句子。八年级是学习英语的关键时期,这个阶段的学生活泼、好奇心和求知欲望强。但是由于学生年龄和生活经验的限制,在相互交谈所喜欢运动相关方方面面时,会遇到一定的困难。因此,在教学过程中,利用图片、肢体语言,给予学生直观的感受,并灵活运用flash,创设真实的情境。除此之外,教师要给学生适时而恰当的鼓励。学生在课堂上的发言,教师都要尽力加以表扬,鼓励,多运用积极的鼓励性语言,如“Believe yourself !”,“Good”, “Well done!”等。对于学生在口语练习中出现的错误,不必有错就纠,有错必纠,使学生产生“跃跃欲试”的冲动,享受成功的喜悦。【教学目标与要求】1. Learn some new words and phrases:almost, against, term, cheer, cheer on, team, win, row, quite, bit, quite a bit / a lot, join, club, skate, volleyball, tennis, table tennis2. Learn some useful sentences:(1)I saw you play basketball almost every day during the summer holidays.(2)Would you like to come and cheer us on?3. Learn the future tense with be going to:(1)We are going to have a basketball game against Class Three on Sunday.(2)Are you going to join the school rowing club?4. Talk about preferences:Which sport do you prefer, cycling or rowing?I prefer rowing.5. Talk about sports and games.【情感策略】 1、培养学生积极向上的人生态度。 2、激发学生的兴趣,使之乐于接触并参与体育活动。 3、培养学生合作学习的习惯。【重点、难点分析】1、 如何正确地用英语谈论喜欢的体育活动及计划。2、 如何正确地使用“be going to”【教学策略与手段】 (1)教学模式本课教学采用了“以学生为中心”的教学模式,坚持以学生为主的教学原则,所设计的课堂任务全是围绕学生为中心,给学生思考的时间,活动的空间,让他们自己去体验,让学生自始至终参与到知识形成的全过程中,从而感受成功的喜悦。(3)教学策略 本课采取“开放式”教学策略,创设情境,营造氛围,以有限的课堂为载体,给学生足够的的余地去发挥想象力,培养他们的创新能力。以及“任务型”教学策略,在做中学,学后做,再到总结归纳。让学生在活动中习得知识。(4)教学手段运用多媒体课件来辅助教学,使得教学更直观,有效。【课前准备】1、English textbook, a tape recorder.2、A computer for multimedia use.【教学步骤和建议】Step1 Warming up and review(时间:7分钟)1、Greeting with students.Hi! Welcome back to school, boys and girls. The new term begins. This is our first English lesson this term. Did you enjoy yourselves during your summer holidays? What did you do during your holidays? Did you do sports during your summer holidays?Ss:2、利用多媒体展示一些有关运动的图片,并通过师生对话,引出新的运动项目名称T: We all know doing sports is good for our health. Now lets review some sports and learn some new ones.(展示学生在打篮球的图片。)T:Look at the picture. Do you know what they are doing? S1, please.S1:They are playing basketball.T:Do you like playing basketball?S1:Yes, I do. / No, I dont.T:How many players are there in the basketball team?(板书并要求学生掌握。)teamS1:There are five players.(展示学生在打排球的图片。)T:What are they doing? S2, do you know?S2: They are playing volleyball. (教师帮助该生回答。)(板书并要求学生掌握。)volleyball(用同样的方式引出生词cycle, row, skate, tennis, table tennis, ski。)(板书,并让学生跟读,要求学生理解cycle, ski;掌握row, skate, tennis, table tennis。)cycle, row, skate, tennis, table tennis, ski 设计说明:通过师生间的问候,拉近彼此的距离,使学生快速融入英语课堂。同时以轻松的幻灯片展示有关运动的图片容易激起学生学习兴趣,顺利导入新课的主题任务。Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈现(时间:15分钟) 1、 (用幻灯片上有关运动的生词操练,导出prefer的用法。)T:Which sport do you like better, cycling or rowing?S3: Rowing.T:Good! The phrase “like better” means “prefer”.(板书并要求学生理解。)preferT:S4, which sport do you prefer, basketball or soccer?S4: I prefer basketball. 2、完成2培养学生听说能力,并通过大量操练,使他们熟练运用含有be going to的一般疑问句及掌握prefer的用法。(通过幻灯片,使学生初步掌握be going to句型用法,导入2。)T: Look at the pictures, what are they going to do?Ss:(Picture 1) They are going to go skating.(Picture 2) They are going to go skiing.(板书,)be going to do sth.(通过幻灯片展示图片。)T: Which sport do you prefer, or ?S1:I prefer T: What about you, S2?S2:I prefer T:S3, do you often go swimming?S3:Yes, very often.T:Good. You can also say “quite a lot/a bit”. “Do you often go swimming?” means “Do you go swimming much?”(板书,并领读,要求学生掌握quite, bit和quite a lot/a bit。)quite, bitvery often = quite a lot/a bitI go swimming very often.= I go swimming much.T:S4, do you go rowing much?S4:Yes, quite a lot/a bit.T: S5, do you go skiing much?S5:Yes, quite a lot / a bit.(肯)S6:No, seldom.(否)T:Oh, you dont like sports. It isnt good. Here is the news. Our class is going to have a basketball game against Class 3 at 5:00 this afternoon. Would you like to cheer them on?Ss:Yes, wed love to./Id love to.(板书,让学生猜词义,并要求掌握。)against, cheer, cheer . on(展示教学挂图,让学生看图片猜测对话内容,导入1a。) T: Look at this picture. They are Kangkang and Michael. What are they talking about? Can you guess? (根据幻灯片上的关键词,分角色表演对话。)T:OK. Now you can use the key words above to act out the dialog in roles.2. (教师引导学生,通过讨论新学期的计划来操练be going to+do句型。)(教师先做示范,然后让学生两人一组练习。)T: S1, what are you going to do this term?S1:Im going to learn English better.T:What about you, S2?S2:Im going to study math hard.T:Oh, its a good plan. S3, do you know what your partner is going to do?S3:Yes. He is going to learn rowing.T:Discuss with your partner what you are going to do this term.3. (创设情景,依据1a编对话,巩固1a及be going to+do句型,完成1b。)T:Just now you talked about your plans for this term. Now suppose you meet your classmate on the playground and you want to talk about your plans for this week. Please make a similar conversation with your partner according to 1a. You can use the key words on the blackboard.(板书)be going to, play, Im afraid, homework, summer, play against, I hope(学生两人一组编对话,教师进行鼓励启发,必要时应给予帮助。)Example:S4:Hi, S5.S5:Hi, S4. I am going to play Are you going to play with us?S4:Im afraid I cant. I have to do my homework first. By the way,I saw you play almost every day during the summer holidays.S5:Yes. You know I am going to play in the game against Class 2this Saturday. Would you like to come and cheer us on?S4:Of course. Id love to. And I hope you will win.(让几组学生到教室前面表演类似的对话,评出最佳表演组及最佳演员等。)设计说明:八年级学生的表演欲望强,所以,采用结对活动,这样可以激发学生的参与性,扩大参与面,使更多的学生开口说英语。Step 4 Practice 第四步 练习(时间:5分钟)1、. (让学生听3录音,并完成3。)T:Michael and Kangkang like doing sports a lot. Do you want to know what sports they often do on weekends? Listen to the tape, then fill in the chart in 3.(再放录音3,核对答案。)2、(做一个运用“be going to+do”句型的游戏。)(挑选若干学生上台,做关于运动的动作,该动作要能使同学们明白并成功猜出运动名称。猜到的同学要用be going to+do询问做动作的同学,以证实自己的猜测是否正确。)T:Please do an action about your favorite sport.(S10表演一个动作。)S9:Are you going to play basketball?S10:No, Im not.S9:Are you going to play volleyball?S10:Yes, I am.(让学生尽量多表演动作。)设计说明:运用游戏可以激发学生的参与性,扩大参与面,使更多的学生开口说英语。Step 5 Project (时间:8分钟)通过作报告和写句子,培养学生综合运用本课所学语法及重要句型的能力。1. (小组活动,在小组中做采访并向全班同学作报告。) T: Work in groups. Ask your partner the following questions, then give a report to your classmates.(1)Which sport do you prefer, or ?(2)Do you much?(3)Are you going to next week? 设计说明:通过此活动既可以复习之前所学的知识,更能锻炼学生的口述能力和合作意识。Step 5 Summary(时间:2分钟) We learn:the future tense with “be going to”. We can: 1. talk about sports and games. 2. talk about preferences.【作业设计】1、用be going to造五个句子,要求用不同的人称、句式。2、写一篇70字左右的短文介绍自己的爱好的体育运动及打算。【板书设计】Are you going to play basketball?Section Apreferbe going t
