Lesson 9 Arriving In Beijing 一、教学目标1、知识目标:掌握单词:men, women, children, people, many.会认读单词:everyone.能运用所学知识用英语表达在火车站看到的、听到的事情。2、能力目标:能熟练掌握和识记本课单词:men, women, children, people, many.能灵活运用本课所学内容,对身边的人物进行描述。3、情感目标:培养良好的文化意识和英语语感。培养小组合作意识与互帮互助精神。二、教学重点、难点1、教学重点:掌握单词men, women, children, people, many2、教学难点:能利用本课所学知识结合实际活动情况进行情感交际练习三、课时:1课时四、教学准备:录音机磁带,图片,PPT五、教学过程:Step 1:Class Opening and Review1、Greeting:Hello! Boys and girls! How are you? Im happy. Are you happy? Hows the weather today? Its a lovely day! Lets go on a trip, Ok? (设计意图:刚上课,教师与学生自然的问候可以使学生快速融入英语学习氛围,同时为下一步教学做铺垫。)2、Show“ Tiananmen Square” on PPT to the students. Whats this? Where is it? Who can say something about Beijing? T: So, Beijing is great! Lets go on a trip to Beijing by train.3、Show the train on PPT. T:Now were on the train.(设计意图:教师与学生一起交流,有利于激发学生的学习兴趣,激活学生原有的知识,为学习新知识做必要的准备) 4.Can we jump on the train? Can we look out the window on the train? Ok. What can you see?(设计意图:创设在火车内的情境,使学生不知不觉引入新知,街接自然,让学生在玩中学,学中玩)Sept 2:New Concepts(一)Part 11、出示man图片, What can you see? 板书 This is a / one man.2、出示men图片, Is this a man? 板书 These are men. / These are many men.拼men.从音形区别man 与men.3、出示woman图片, Who is this? 板书This is a/one woman. I am a woman,too.(如果教师是女性)4、出示women图片, How many women? 4 women. 板书These are women.拼读women. 从音形区别woman 与women.5、出示boy and gir图片, This is a boy and a girl. Who is a boy? Stand up,please. Who is a girl? Stand up,please. Who is a child? The boy is a child. The girl is a child,too. Boys and girls are children. 板书,拼读children=child+ren.区别child 与children. 6、出示people图片, men, women and children are people.板书,拼读people.(提示:people为复数形式单词)7、出示Beijing Train Station图片, Look, Whats this? Its Beijing Train Station. Oh, We arrive in Beijing. Im very happy. Are you happy? Ask morestudents. So,Everyone is happy.板书everyone. .(如果学生不理解everyone的意思,可猜测它的意思。提示:everyone为单数形式单词。) Ask students to say a sentence with “everyone”(设计意图:通过图片学习单词,较直观、形象,并在教授单词时说明各个词之间的区别及记忆方法、技巧,渗透给学生学习策略。)(二)part 2 1、出示一张火车站的图片 The teacher ask the students try to describe them in pairs.Then show the dialogue to the class.Who are they? What are they doing in the train station?(Theyd better to say one sentence) (设计意图:本环节的输出练习承上启下,为第二部分的文本输入打下基础,降低填空题写的难度。)2、Do you want to know Li Ming, Danny, Jenny and Mrs. Li see in the train station?Lets listen to the tape.3、Show the question of “Fill in the blanks”, ask one student to read. Li Ming, Danny, Jenny and Mrs. Li arrive_Beijing. _is tired and hungry. There are _ _in the Beijing Train Station. These_ are buying tickets. Some _ are crying. These_are talking. What did you do yesterday afternoon?S:_ 2游戏“Travel”(复词规则动词过去式) 教师手持”Today”,“Yesterday”两张卡片在全班来回走动,让学生抽此卡片。教师用动作给出一些常用的动词, 如:教师作“走,跳,玩,谈话等”的动作,学生抽到卡片后就说: S1:TodayI walk . S2: Yesterday I walked.指生说说规则动词的变化规律。(设计意图:师生交流情感,不仅解除了拘束感,而且复习了规则动词的变化规律。)Step3 New Concepts 同学们,以上我们复习了一些规则动词的过去式,今天我们来学习一些不规则动词的过去式。1出示PPT: Today: Yesterday: go went seesaw eatate havehad amis was教师领读学习单词。(设计意图:通过教师讲读,加深对单词的学习,不仅除掉了“拦路虎”,而且有利于下一步的学习)2.听录音并跟读课文第一部分。3小组内用不规则动词说一句话。然后选出代表说一说。4.出示问题,听录音。What did Jenny do on the first day?What did Jenny do on the second day?What did Jenny do on the third day?What gift does Jenny give her mother?5.指生回答问题,教师给予纠正,鼓励。(提示:注意时态)6跟读第二部分内容。(设计意图:分步学习,可加深课文内容的理解。)Step 3. Is he strong and healthy ?(教师指着另一张图片)S: (No .)T: Yes , He is weak and sick .
