7A Unit 3 Integrated skills 【设计理念】我市“三案六环节”教学模式的主要内容是“合作探究,交流展示”,它倡导“在做中学,在学中用”的教育理念。运用学习任务组织教学,强化了语言实践的过程,充分体现了语言的交际本质。在英语课堂上,实施任务和开展活动具有很大的挑战性,需要在实际操作中对教材进行重新整合,并要根据学生的环境和接受能力来开展行之有效的任务和活动。同时利用多媒体和网络技术,帮助解决教学难题。【教材分析】教学内容为牛津英语教材7Aunit 3Integrated skills.内容主要包括以下几点: 1.能够了解海外华人如何庆祝我们传统的节日. 2.学会观察海报,捕捉信息,再通过听录音完成表格. 3.通过听力和阅读补全所给文章.【教学目标】 1.能听说读写单词lion , midnight 并了解其含义。能听懂,会说单词packet traditional, excited . 2.能听懂会和 本单元中心话题有关的语段,利用所给提示,获取简单的信息。 3.能通过阅读短文或海报,了解海外中国传统节日的庆祝方式,提高对中外文化异同的鉴别能力,增强自己对民族文化的自豪感。4.用favourite 一词来表达偏好。【教学重点】 1.生词和日常交际用语的语音语调。 2.通过对话题的听说读写综合训练,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。【教学难点】 1.阅读一份在纽约欢度春节的海报,找出其中的要点,并写出贺卡。 2.听有关在纽约庆祝春节的广播节目。【课前准备】 1.教具准备:磁带、录音机、课件、游戏卡片。 2.板书准备:黑板预先写好课题Unit 3 Lets celebrate!Teaching stepsStep 1 Lead-in T:Hello,everyone!Nice to see you .Whats the date today? S:Its T:Do you like watching TV ? S:Yes ,we do. T:Do you know who he is ? S :Lee Yong. T:Yes ,he is the host of Lucky 52 .Do you like to play games? Ss;Yes , very much. T:There are many festivals in the world . People celebrate them in different ways, right? Lets play a game. Ss:Great! T:Good!Listen carefully.Guess what festivals they are.【设计目的】贴切的语言交流,增进了师生间的相互沟通,拉近师生之间的交流的距离,为顺利完成以下教学埋下伏笔。Step 2 Warm-up activities T:No.1, People in the west celebrate their festival . Before it , people always buy a kind of tree. They send cards or presents to each other. It is on December 25. What festival is it ?S1:Christmas. T:Good!No.2 , We Chinese dont have the festival. It comes in October. Children like it very much. They like playing a game called “trick or treat”. S2:Its Halloween. T:Thank you .No.3, It is our Chinese festival. On that day , family members get together. They eat mooncakes and enjoy the moon. Sometimes old people tell their children the story of Change . What festival is it ? S3:Mid Autumn Festival. T:Great! Its also called Mid-Autumn Day. No.4 , the festival is on the first day of June . All the children like it very much. They dance , sing or play games in their schools. S4:Its Childrens Day. T :Well done! No.5, On the day , the teachers all over China are very happy . Their students may send cards to them with their best wishes . It is on September 9. What festival is it ? T:It usually comes in January or February. All the people wear new clothes and greet each other with “Gong Xi Fa Cai”. People put up Dui lian on the doors. S8:Chinese New Year.T:Excellent! What do people do and eat at Chinese New Year?Please talk about it for three minutes in groups of four,then choose one to give your work ,now,you can begin. S1:They eat dumplings and mantou,they visit friends , watch fireworks, lion dance and set off鞭炮S2.S3.T:You are true. Dumplings and buns are Chinese Traditional food. We watch fireworks and set off crackers. How do you feel when you celebrate Cheinese New Year?Ss:Happy. T:Yes , we are happy and excited .(teach the new words:traditional, firework,lion dance, excited)T:What do we Chinese do for Chinese New Year?Can you tell me now ?Ss:Visit friends, get red packets from parents, put up “chunlian”, watch lion dance, set off fireworks and crackers, make dumplings and so on. T:You are great.【设计目的】用学生们熟悉的节目,以游戏形式复习旧知识,引出新话题,极大地激发了学生的求知欲,活跃了课堂的气氛,使原来枯燥的综合技能课变得生动活泼,进一步融洽了师生关系,为学生提供运用语言的机会。并激发了学生学习英语的兴趣,增强了他们的自信心。通过活动和图片在自然情景中学习新单词。Step 3 Pre-listening T:We have a new friend . His name is Mr.Zhao. He is a Chinese. He lives in Chinatown, New York , America. He moved to America twenty years ago. He likes Chinese New Year. Listen to the tape.What does he like to eat?And what does he like doing?S1:Jiaozi and mantou.S2:He likes watching fireworks. T:Thats right.【设计目的】在这一环节,虚拟一位美籍华人,他身在异国他乡,在春节来临之际,回忆年幼时在家乡如何庆祝新春佳节的情景,强烈渲染爱国之情,表达了一位海外游子对祖国母亲的思念之情,同时通过听说,对新单词进行巩固。这一环节的设计是本课的最大亮点,给学生传授新知识的同时,对学生进行了爱国主义教育,令人回味无穷。Step4 While-listening T:What do people in foreign countries do for Chinese New Year?In Chinatown , New York, many people from China celebrate Chinese New Year every year. Here is a poster of Chinese New Year Party. Lets look at the poster carefully. What can they eat if people take part in the party and what can they see?When can they see fireworks and music and dance ?Below is a form . You can fill in some blanks according to the poster above - Check the answers.Thats right. Now lets lisen to the tape and finish other blanks.(twice)T:Ok, Lets check the answers.【设计目的】指导学生带着问题阅读海报,有目的地查找信息,有意识的听取录音材料。为了降低难度,教者把其中两处难度较大的信息直接在课件中呈现,以便学生顺利完成表格。Step 5 Post-listening Wendy is writing a postcard to Millie to tell her about the celebrations.Help her complete the postcard.【设计目的】指导学生根据海报及表格中的信息,完成明信片内容,这实际是指导学生完成一篇任务性阅读材料。Step 6 Read aloud【设计目的】在听说写之后,笔者认为很有必要对学生进行朗读的训练。Step 7 Consolidation T:Great !Wendy introduced to us how people in New York celebrate Chinese New Year. B:My favourite festival is A:When is B:Its on / in A:What do you do ?【教后反思】 英语教师应该充分挖掘教材,有机地利用多媒体资源,提高课堂教学效率,使我们变得更富有创造性。教授新课时,注意前后知识的联系和衔接,让学生由易到难;在词汇的教学过程中,注意词汇的层次性、复现率。将牛津教材的特点让学生更好的理会。每节新课前都要对前几课内容进行复习,也可引入一些简单的新课知识点,将新旧知识很好的融会贯通起来。教学中要层层铺垫,尽量做到每个部分的教学都能为其下一步教学做好准备,这样有利于学生对新知识的领会。课堂上的过渡语很重要。运用简洁的过渡语,可使整节课层次分明、结构清晰。快节奏、大容量、高密度的教学,可以让学生注意力更集中,使其始终处在一个英语信息接收和输出的氛围中。教师要善于创设和谐的教学环境。在教学过程中,始终以谈话式教学的方式,让学生觉得轻松快乐,让学生感受到他们才是课堂的主人。Unit 3 Lets Celebrate Integrated skills Period 7 课前预习.一.翻译下列短语.1 Chinese food 2 Lion dance 3from 9p.m to midnight 4. be on holiday 5your favourite day 6 get lots of presents .7 fireworks 二.翻译下列句子.(1)这是我第一次看舞狮.
