英语诗歌选读课程教学大纲课程编号:01130120 学分:2 学时:34(其中实践学时:0) 授课学期:6 学期一、课程的性质、地位、作用及与其他课程的联系 本课程是英语专业本科高年级选修课之一,它以“英国文学史及选读”和“美国文学史及选读”为先修课程。想对英语诗歌进行更深入的同学可以选修“英语诗歌选读”。以英美诗歌发展史为线索,使学生掌握英国和美国诗歌的主要品种及其源流,重要诗歌流派及其理论,总体风格和影响,重要诗人及其作品的风格与成就;使学生了解英国诗歌的民族特性和美国诗歌的民族特性。通过学习诗歌体裁、格律、主题、意象、修辞等方面的基础知识,培养学生欣赏英美诗歌能力,增加语言的输入量,从而增加实际运用语言的能力,为今后进一步的语言学习和文学研究奠定基础。使学生具有独立研究简单题目的能力。二、课程的教学内容与要求Part One: British VerseChapter 1 The Canterbury Tales and 16th-Century Poetry【教学目标】1.
