The Teaching Plans for New Standard English Book 11 潘小平 2011.07英语（新标准）一起点Book11教材分析本册教材New Standard English（供一年级起始用）第十一册是供小学六年级上学期使用的。全书共分为11个模块（Module），内含一个期末复习模块。每个模块分两个单元（Unit）。一般情况下，第一单元呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容，第二单元提供若干任务型（Task-based）练习，包括一首歌谣或小诗。情节连续、完整的故事线是本套教材在设计和编写方面的显著特点，其作用有三：其一，在语境中导入单元核心语言知识；其二，培养阅读策略；其三，大容量语言信息输入。根据故事在语境中导入核心语言结构的功能和“故事”教学的模块贯穿性，教材并不要求学生第一课时就完全掌握故事，对新语言结构把握的度，只需学生在语境中感知、接触、理解即可，其巩固、强化、拓展训练将在后续课时进行，直至学生掌握。歌谣、小诗的学习目的有三：一是培养学生的语感和节奏感，二是提高发音的正确性，三是介绍一定的西方文化；其中的一些不常用单词，不要求学生在歌谣之外学会使用。在本册，我们要跟着大明去美国访问，了解一些美国的情况，初步了解在美国生活的中国人的生活。我们将进一步学习在以前学习过的语句结构、技能等，并将学习根据图片独立地写出完整的连续性的语句。我们要进一步复习语音，学习语篇中的语音表达。另外，课文中呈现一些新的语法内容，不要求讲解也不要求掌握语法理论，而是要求学生在理解的基础上初步学会运用这些语句。我校学生情况分析我校六年级的学生已经学习了五年多的英语，每班有四节周课时，其主要特征表现为：在听、说、读、写上有了一定的基础，在课堂上能够积极回答问题、敢于用英语表达自己的想法、有善于倾听其他同学的发言的好习惯；有能够听懂基本的课堂用语和重视英语功能话题积累的学习能力；具备自我学习和合作学习的学习策略；但两极分化较大。能力强的学生已经能够自觉地学习英语，并养成了良好的阅读习惯；在班级内已经带动其他同学学习英语。但对于基础差的学生来说，学习缺乏自觉性、动力，上课不积极，阅读能力差，口头和书面表达都有很大的不足。针对以上问题，本学期主要采取帮扶教学、有针对性地分层教学，加强学生听、说、读、写各项基本功，为大家安排了这样的学习计划：一方面，要继续扩展学习新的内容；另一方面，要复习巩固以前学习过的内容。这样既能够为小学阶段的学习进行必要的总结，也能够为中学阶段的学习打下牢固的基础，让每个学生都有一定的进步,能够为他们中学的学习打下坚实的基础。教法学法设定 由于本套教材所涉及到的新课标要求的功能话题的知识要点在15年级已经基本学习完，所以11、12册的学习内容主要是总结复习前面所学知识并有效的归纳拓展，基于此，我主要采用阅读、听读、小组学习等教学方法，要求学生运用预习、听读、自读、小组讨论等学习方法，让学生在自我学习和合作学习中学会总结、归纳、拓展所学知识。Module 1 The famous place教材分析： 本模块教学内容是在新标准英语（一起）Book1-10学习内容的基础上运用Tell me about句型描述事物，运用How long How old Why等问句谈论事物及事情的变化，拓展复习WH-疑问句，复习长度和时间（年岁）的表达，复习名词单复数的变化等。 Module 1 Unit 1以对话的形式呈现了以下内容：Simon带领Daming到美国游玩，Simon看到长城的图片很想去旅游，Daming就向他介绍，课文就是围绕着他们的对话来呈现对长城景象的了解。通过Daming的介绍，Simon了解到中国著名的万里长城有多长，有多古老，并能用How long is the Great Wall? Its How old is the Great Wall? Its 进行描述。同时Daming邀请Simon将来访问中国时，一起去爬长城。就功能而言，包括描述事物或场景的变化；从语言结构来说，主要是How long How old Why等问句及答语的运用。Unit 1 How long is the Great Wall? 课 题：the Great Wall课 型：新授课课时安排：共5个课时授课班级：五年级1、2、3、4班功 能：描述建筑物及名胜古迹；学习任务：1.学习目标语句：Tell me more about the Great Wall?How long is it? Its ten thousand li long.Thats five thousand kilometres long.2能口头运用How long is it? Its ten thousand li long.这类语句说明历史古迹。3能识别单词might, more, thousand, kilometre, million，并能书写单词 about。教学重点：能口头运用How long is it? Its ten thousand li long.等描述历史古迹。教学难点：1.of,about的用法。2.如何创设情景帮助学生理解单词thousand, kilometer, million重点词汇：thousand, kilometre, million, place第一课时 Period One Step11、总结假期作业完成情况。 2、介绍新学期教学内容及要求。 3、Free Talk（小组活动，分组汇报） How was your summer holiday? Where did you go?What did you do? 4、复习上学期重要知识点（名词单复数）Step2Homework：Review the new lesson.课后反思 ： 第二课时 Period Two Step1Warm-up课前复习tall, short, big, small, long, short等形容词，加上动作Step2. Presentation1. Each group invite a student, compare who is the fastest one to take out the action.设计思路：复习数字和长度单位可以让学生很快进入学习状态，同时为下面的学习打下铺垫，同时让学生对生活中的长度单位有一个初步的认识。Step3: Practice 1.
