He got lost.例二：想说明“考试只是一种形式”，test is only a form, 同学并不了解，其实有“test is only a test”这样的用法。例三：想说明口语的重要性。“在国外，我可以不会写英语，但不能不会说英语”，I can cant write, but I cant cant speak.三、缺乏逻辑性、论证能力、描述能力等有一次，我的作文题目是“A Campaign Speech”，为竞选学生会主席而进行演讲。有一位同学的作文比较有趣，他通篇说，如果我当选学生会主席，这将有助于提高我自己的组织能力、思维能力、交往能力，等等。我当时对他的作文的评价是：“设想你是一个学生，你会选一个只想着利用这个机会来提高自己的人作学生会主席吗？”另一次，我布置的作文是“Is Pressure a Bad Thing”? 结果就有同学大谈How should we face the pressure，其实他的论述跳过了一步，先要论证pressure是否有积极的意义，然后才谈得上如何去面对它。四、不了解四六级考试作文部分真正的要求有两篇作文我印象比较深刻。我出的题目是“口语考试是否应该成为四六级考试的一部分”，要求从正、反两方面论述。结果一位同学交上来的作文，第一节，I think spoken English test is not necessary，然后洋洋洒洒写了一通，第二节，却又变成I think spoken English test is necessary，然后同样洋洋洒洒写了一些论点。他没有真正理解“正、反两方面论述”这个要求的含义，结果写了一篇自相矛盾的文章。有一次我的题目是一个图表题，展示的是大学生1990、1995、2000这三年中，平均每周用在计算机上的时间。图表题的要求一般是第一小节描述变化趋势，即图表的数据分析，第二小节解释变化的原因，第三小节展望未来趋势或
