5Unit6 Doing housework第一课时一、教学内容 牛津小学英语5A Uint6 Part A Read and say二、教材分析本单元的主要教学内容是“做家务”和“做作业”,通过教学“hat is he/she doing?”及答句“ is/are doing.”,让学生掌握描述“某人正在做某事”的英语表达方法。本课时为语篇教学,主要讲述了南茜做作业遇到难题后打电话给苏海和苏洋,以及他们三人各自在家的活动。在深入分析了本课教学内容之后,我确定了以下教学目标。三、教学目标 1 知识目标(1)能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写六个表示动作的词:stand, sit, sleep, jump, run和walk。能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写句型:What are you doing? Im /Were.What is he/she doing? He/She is . What are they doing? Theyre.;(2)初步掌握现在进行时的意义、构成和用法。2 能力目标能正确运用现在进行时向他人询问正在做什么,并能对对方的询问给予正确的回答,培养用英语交际和解决实际问题的能力。3情感、策略与文化目标关注学生的情感体验,注重学生的实践、参与和合作等学习策略的指导,逐步培养学生自信、乐学、好学的学习习惯。四、重点难点1教学重点(1)能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写六个表示动作的词:stand, sit, sleep, jump, run和walk;(2)能听懂、会说、会读、会拼写句型:What are you doing? Im /Were.What is he/she doing? He/She is . What are they doing? Theyre.2教学难点(1)现在分词的构成及发音;(2)对现在进行时意义的理解和运用。五、设计思路本节课主要是时态的教学,通过大量练说的机会来掌握现在进行时这一时态,并提高学生的口头交际能力.本节课的教学内容与学生的日常生活是紧密联系在一起的.本着新课标提出的“以人为本”的思想,结合基础教育阶段英语课程的任务,本节课我决定采用任务型教学途径,以创设情境为主,游戏为辅,让学生在一种轻松的氛围中完全投入到英语环境中来,在不知不觉中掌握英语知识.六、教学过程Step 1Pre-reading (构建情景,略扫障碍,为阅读课文作准备。)1. Warm-upT: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today?Ss: Good morning, Miss Wu. Fine, thank you, and you?T: Im fine, too. Thank you.2. Have a free talk.T: I can swim, can you swim?Do you like swimming?S: Yes, I can/No, I cant. Yes, I do./No, I dont.T: I like swimming. What do you like?S: I like singing/dancing/ skating.T: Do you like singing? Can you sing the song We can sing and dance?Ss: Yes, we can.3. Sing the songPlay the tape and sing the song with the Ss.Step 2 Presentation and practice (学习词汇,理解文意,强调阅读方法的指导。)1、播放课文Flash,让学生仔细听,然后回答问题:、What is Su Yang doing?、What is Su Hai doing ?、What is Nancy doing? (用小黑板出示这三个题目)学生回答问题后,并试着重复原文中的句子,接着全班一起重复。2. 第二遍呈现文本,自读,学习新单词。T:Please try to read the text by yourselves. Circle the new words when youre reading. You can also circle the phrases you dont understand.让学生自读课文,找出新词,自己猜测词意,然后提出自己不理解的单词,教师再随机讲解。(1)教学at home教师用简单语言作解释,帮助学生理解。(2)教学sweep the floor; clean the windows教师用肢体语言做扫地状和擦窗户状,引导学生理解和学习sweep the floor; clean the windows.3. 第三遍呈现文本,跟读,回答细节问题:(整体呈现六个问题) Q1:What day is it today?Q2:Is Nancy calling Su Hai?Q3:Are Su Hai and Su Yang free now?Q4:What is Su Hai doing?Q5:Is Su Yang sweeping the floor?Q6: How about Nancy?T: Now, lets read the text after the tape and try to answer these questions.Q1: What day is it today?S1: It is Sunday.Q2: Is Nancy calling Su Hai?S2: Yes, she is.Q3: Are Su Hai and Su Yang free now?S3: No, they arent.Q4: What is Su Hai doing?S4: Shes sweeping the floor.Q5: Is Su Yang sweeping the floor?S5: No, she isnt.T(追问):What is she doing?S6: Shes cleaning the windows.Q6: How about Nancy?S7: Shes doing her homework.T(追问):Can Su Hai go and help her with Maths?S8: Yes, she can.T: Su Hai can do housework and help Nancy with Maths? Do you think shes a good girl?Ss: Yes.T: I think hes a helpful boy. Are you a helpful boy or girl? Try your best to be a helpful kid. Do some housework or help your classmate. I think you can. Can you?Ss: Yes, we can.设计意图:跟读课文,提高学生的朗读水平,再次熟悉文本内容。6个细节问题帮助学生进一步理解了文本,最后追问的两个问题,帮助学生理清了南茜打电话的目的,并揭示了本课的情感目标:Try to be a helpful kid!Step3 Post-reading(阅读后,拓展训练,由读到写,注重语言的综合运用。)1. 第四遍呈现文本,填空改写,复述故事。It is Sunday . Su Hai and Su Yang are doing . Su Hai is the floor. Su Yang is . Nancy is her . Su Hai can come and Nancy her Maths this afternoon.设计意图:由对话到短文,换一种形式呈现了文本。文体的转换带来人称的转换,以填空的形式帮助学生理清了故事脉络,检查了学生的相关语言知识,为下面看图编故事做了准备。2. 制造电话铃响的一幕与学生进行电话交流.(课前准备一部玩具手机)T:Oh the telephone is ringing 引导学生认读ring. T:Hello is that ?S1:Yes this is /N o this is T:Hello ,Are you free now ?引导学生回答S1:No Im having an English lessonT:How about ?S1:Shes/Hes having an English lesson too.老师预设学生可能提出的问题有:(1)Are you free now?/Is he free now?(2)What are you doing(3)How about ?(4)Can you come and help me with Maths/English?(5)See you .Step 4 Homework1.Read the dialogue follow the tape four times.2.用英语打个电话,并把对话内容写下来。板书设计:Unit 6 Doing houseworkSunday morning at home Su Hai & Su Yang Nancy What are you doing?
