The purpose of graduation practice(1). to consolidate and apply basic theory, professional knowledge and basic skills what we have learned in school develop the abilities of autonomous working and cooperation with others in teaching;(2). to learn from the prominent teacher during teaching jobs, and realize the obligation of teachers, and to set up and consolidate the loyalty of the peoples education career;(3). through practice, to inspect the strength of us and the mastery degree of professional knowledge, and to find the problem in time so that we can take improvement measures, in order to improve our teaching level;(4). through practice, to strengthen connections with No.8 junior high school, and to discuss the solutions of the new problems in teaching at new age, and to promote the application of modern education technology and new equipments;2. The introduction to the organization of graduation practiceNo.8 junior high school was founded in 1995. It is a municipal model junior high school with modern facilities. The school is located in Yanjiao economic and technological development zone, covering an area of 4000 square meters. And its buildings cover an area of 18000 square meters. No.8 junior high school has 48 teaching classes, 3016 students and 178 full-time teachers. Education should be geared to the needs of modernization, of the world and of the future. No.8 middle school always adheres to be guided by three orientations-Education should be geared to the needs of modernization, of the world and of the future. Under the kind attention and strong support of leaders at all levels, and joint effort of the all the staff, the managerial strategies of No.8 junior high school is people-oriented, pay attention to connotation; their school principal is running school by law, managing school in democratic principle, qualifying school by virtues, prospering school by scientific research and strengthening school by good quality; their educational mission is implementing the Partys education policy and quality education in all directions. No.8 junior high school owns a research-based type teaching body who work in a high sense of responsibility and dedication. The qualities of teachers reach the best standard100%. Among them, there are 60% senior teachers and first-grade teachers, 80% teachers of bachelor degree or above. And 70% teachers acquired all-kinds of honorary awards (above city-level), and more than 80% teachers education paper and experience introduction won an award in the press. On the hardware construction, the school has beautiful environment and complete facilities. The school also has laboratory with high standards, apparatus room, library reading room, and 3 computer Labs, 35 multimedia classroom and so on. Network remote education resources link all offices and teaching and research groups. The superior condition laid a solid material foundation for the teaching reform and development. Over the years, No.8 junior high school has received many honorary titles, such as the Chinese traditional virtue education advanced unit, the national informatization campus, the national basic education resource sharing alliance, modern education technology experimental school in Hebei province, green school in Hebei province, star school in Langfang city, quality education advanced school in Langfang and so on.6. The process of graduation practice The process of graduation practice consists of teaching practice, head teacher practice work, educational survey and practice summary. (1). the work of teaching practice . Attending the teachers class which is given by my practice teacher, and taking notes carefully, then discussing with my teacher after class; . Striving for giving new class one or two times . Studying intensively in syllabus, new curriculum standards and curriculum contents of your practice discipline; knowing well about the spirit of the teaching material and the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skill; . Making a thorough understanding of the junior high school students learning situation; according to the fact, determining the teaching goal, difficult points and the teaching method; writing a detailed lesson plan. The lesson plan should be handed in my teacher; modification should proceed under the guidance of teacher; . Helping my teacher to do the homework correcting; studying the right answers to the homework, especially for more complex problems should be discussed in groups, and make a unified right answer, then sending to my teacher for approval, if it is approved, we could set about correcting homework. . For common error in the operation, we must carry on the group counseling, and we should direct the learn method to junior high school; (2). Head teachers practice work . We should be familiar with the rules of the school in practice time, and we should understand and be familiar with students through reading student handbook, student registration form, student name tables and chatting with students. We also should know about the class rules and existing problems at present, and the whole class students thought, then set out head teacher work plan (including work goals and objectives, class activities, the content of the class meeting, the ideological and political education work, and the measure of the group work); . Leading the class and giving students ideological education; directing class committee and youth league committee to carry out the work; . Respecting your teacher and learning from her sincerely. All of the work should finish under the guidance of the teacher, because we should maintain the teachers prestige. . We should faithfully implement all kinds of school rules and class rules. Activities which be carried out by ourselves can not contradict with school rules as well as class rules. . Completing the head teachers daily work carefully, and doing morning exercises with students; supervising students to do morning reading and self-study at evening. (3). Educational survey and research . According to the school of graduation practice and local conditions, we should do a investigation whose contents can be combined with local conditions. . Writing a survey of research papers with more 2000 words; (4). Summary stage . Every student should write practice report and practice identification;7. Summary of graduation practiceThis is my first practice-English teaching practice. As for me, it is another formal social experience. I also remember the first time the student called me Miss. Chen which made me astonished. From day to day, I respond them with a nodding naturally. We understand students in new eyesight, and require ourselves in the principles of a teacher. This is a serious but an interesting thing.After one month graduation practice, there are many feelings, not only happiness but also bitterness. I will write down the summary and experience in the following part.This graduation practice let us realize the pleasure being a teacher. Being a student nearly ten years, we suddenly transformed our role to practice and experience school life in the identity of a teacher. Because different tasks and point of view, we had different feelings.At the first two weeks, our main task was attending the teachers class. In order to adapt to the education environment for students preferably, I listened to the teacher carefully, and taken notes carefully too, then communicated with my teacher in time. I recurring analyzed my teachers teaching plan so that I was familiar with the teaching materials in a short time.In these two weeks, I also corrected my students homework. When correcting students paper, correcting students mistakes is a very important thing. After correcting their mistakes, I would write down some motivated comments so that they can correct their mistakes and can not lose confidence in themselves at the same time. In this process, I also found some common problems in junior high school students homework. In generally, it can be divided into four categories:(1). There are serious spelling problems, and many students can not distinguish the part-of-speech;(2). In students homework, the sentence structure is not clear, and they often use wrong tense. They prefer to think in a Chinese way;(3). It is a serious phenomenon that students do not pay attention to the use of punctuations, even dot at random;(4). Some students have a bad attitude. Their hand writing are terrible and they can not be careful with their homework.In the third week, I started to write lesson plan, prepared for giving a class. My teacher directed me to write lesson plan, and gave me advice. On Sunday morning in the fourth week, I gave my first trial lecture. Though it was inform, it exposed many shortcomings during the trial lecture. After that, Mrs. Wang said that my conception was good, and she also gave me a lot of valuable advice. I listened to her carefully, and summarized actively and modified in time. Thus, on March 26, I gave my first class formally. At first, I was very nervous. I introduced myself tensionally. I took several deep breaths in order to adjust my mood, and then I started my lesson. According to my plan, I finished the class with the cooperation of the students. I totally gave three classes during my graduation practice.Through these three classes, I fully understand the feeling of a teacher. This is a good feeling, you will affirm that it is your responsibility to teach them well when you catching their desired eyes.According to this graduation practice, I also summarized some suggestions about education as following:First, interest is an important thing for a student. We must mobilize students interests to let them study activity in a happy atmosphere;Second, teacher should be patient so that teachers can correct students shortcomings successfully. And teacher should create democratic and harmonious teaching atmosphere in any way. In teaching activities, equal relationships between teachers and students should set up, and teacher should regard themselves as a member of the activities;Third, we should pay attention to encourage students. When they get encouragement, they will be energetic, and the class will become active, and then we will get a good teaching effect;Fourth, because of the different feedback about the class from students, we should do more communication with students to understand what is they really want.From this graduation practice, I understand that writing lesson plan is an important thing for a good course. Thus, I have a deeper understand about teacher. The real teachers own noble virtue and the spirit of devotion. They are like a group of bees to build a solid foundation for national construction.
