The intensity of the blow made her unable to cry. She said, It was not until two weeks later that I began to cry. And then I felt as if a big stone had been lifted from my shoulders. It was the tears that brought me back to earth and helped me survive the crisis. Unit6 1. Students from countries such as China, which has a drastically different culture and language from the US, have to absorb a great deal of cultural shock when they first arrive. 2.
