Operational flow: 1. The Ready to start message of the pump control unit is displayed. Execute the start command. The signal output for the discharge valve is controlled, i.e. it is opened if available. The SIHIdry system carries out a self- diagnosis (rotor diagnosis). This process takes 1 minute. The Rotor diagnosis message is displayed during the rotor diagnosis. 2. After completing the diagnosis, the SIHIdry pump switches to the “Standby” mode/ optional Warm-up mode; the Ready for process / Warm-up message is displayed. The “Operation” message is displayed in all conditions under which the pump operates. 3. This pump can be warmed up before the SIHIdry system switches to the vacuum mode. The pump remains in the Warm-up mode until the set minimum temperature is reached. The suction-side valve remains closed and the pump is operated at a higher speed. Once the minimum temperature is reached, the pump switches to the Standby mode. Note: The minimum temperature is not monitored during the vacuum mode; the process has priority in this case. 4. The “vacuum requirement can be set from the “Standby” mode. a. In case of a “vacuum requirement, the SIHIdry system switches to the vacuum mode, i.e. it accelerates to the maximum pump speed and the suction-side valve is opened if available. The vacuum mode indicates the feeding operation of the pump in which the vacuum mode output is controlled. The user can switch back to the Standby mode any time. At the same time, the suction-side valve is closed immediately if available. 5. The pump can be stopped any time using the “Stop” command. At the same time, the pump is stopped in a controlled manner and the controlled valves are closed. The pump is slowed down or stopped and controlled valves are closed in case of a fault. 6. The pump is stopped in a controlled manner by pressing machine stop and the controlled valves are closed. A warning is displayed. 5.3 Operational flow for speed controller variant Prerequisite: The SIHIdry pump is in the Ready to start mode. Digital outputs of all valves are not controlled; all valves must be closed. Operational flow: 1. The Ready to start message of the pump control unit is displayed. Execute the start command. The signal output for the discharge valve is controlled, i.e. it is opened if available. The SIHIdry system carries out a self- diagnosis (rotor diagnosis). This process takes 1 minute. Check the power supply of the pump. If the electronic unit of the pump / controller is defective or its parameterisation is incorrect ? call up STERLING Service PLT team 2071 Pump does not respond A subscriber (pump) is identified, but no longer responds when in operation If the power supply of the pump / controller is cut off for security reasons (Ex-Protection), the error should be ignored ? The main error word should display a EEx-p error Operator 2071 Pump does not respond A subscriber (pump) is identified, but no longer responds when in operation Check the STERLING link PtP bus connecting cable between the SCON2008 control main module and subscriber units. Check the power supply of the pump / controller. If the electronic unit of the pump / controller is defective ? call up STERLING Service PLT team 2080 PtP device booting error The PtP cannot be booted and the parameter and configuration data of a subscriber is not accepted Check the parameterisation of the pumps / controller electronic unit. Check the relevant pumps / controller electronic units or replace them ? If the error exists after a restart, contact the manufacturer. Service Dept. 2081 PtP device requests a reboot A subscriber loses the booting information during the cyclic PtP operation. The subscriber requests for a PtP reboot. Check the relevant pumps / controller electronic units or replace them ? If the error exists after a restart, contact the manufacturer Service Dept. 2090 PtP device booting timeout error The PtP cannot be booted since a subscriber exceeds the response time. Check the parameterisation of the pumps / controller electronic unit. Check the relevant pumps / controller electronic units or replace them ? Re-load the “parameter.csv” parameter file. Service Dept. 4034 Parameter file is missing The parameter file is not available. Edit the parameters and save the “parameter.csv” parameter file Service Dept. 4035 Parameter file defective Content of the parameter file is unacceptable. Edit the parameters and save the “parameter.csv” parameter file Service Dept. 4036 Error while writing the parameter file The parameter file containing the system data cannot be written. Delete the “parameter.csv” parameter file with ftp and then save; check the disk space for LW b if necessary. The number and allocation of Process data (PCD) for input and output is determined by the PPO type. The corresponding GSDfiles are available. Profibus DP communication complies with IEC 61158. The structure of communication profiles is independent of sensors and actuators connected to the system. This means that unavailable data is pre-set with 0. The PPO - Type 115 communication profile is pre-set at the time of delivering the system.
