文档简介

SpeechGood morning, everyone! Before beginning my report, let me show a short dialogue to you.“Grandma, I cant understand English. ”“You can write that Im Japanese on your paper.”“And I cant write Chinese characters well.”“Then you can write that I can live by hiragana hir:n (平假名) and katakana k:tk:n(片假名). ”“I am also hate history ”Grandma froze this time. I thought she would ask me to study right away. She thought a moment then told me that you can write I am not rigidly adhere to(拘泥于) past. Awesome! So I really wrote it on the paper . In the end, I was beaten by my teacherThis dialogue from a book named Zuohe s super grandma. The book has its setting in the World War.After the atomic of explosion at Hiroshima, Zuohes father had gone to Hiroshima alone, unfortunately, he died from nuclear radiation. So his mother had to sent 8-year-olds zuohe to grandmas home. Although they lived in a state of extreme poverty, grandma always have many magic ways to live on and made life full of creativity and joy. For example, grandma often pick up some grotesque vegetables from a river near a market, which were couldnt sell out. In her words, there was nothing can be throw away. When other classmates played judo and kendo, zuohe couldt afford sporting goods. Grandma suggested an easy and free sport to him, running. Luckily, zuohe ran faster and faster, and won twice in the junior school. Grandma told him that there are two kinds of poverty: depressive poverty and unclouded poverty. Their family were the later one. Its very hard to be the rich. They should eat the best food ,go to travel. They were too busy. But the poor used to wear dirty clothes. They could sit on the ground and walk in the rain.Maybe you will think grandma just surrender herself to poverty. In my opinion, grandma cleared life was full of ups and downs, but she still faced it with smiling instead of complaining. She also told us that “people should had a dream and struggle for them until they died.” Grandma took her real behaviors to teach zuohe optimism, cherish and grateful, which are everybody need no
