Today I m going to talk about my teach ing ideasabout 1a-1e of Section B Unit7 Grade 8.I m gng to an alyze this part of teachi ng from 6

As you can see, they are Analysis of the Teaching Material; Analysis of teaching aims ;Analysis of the Teach ing Methods; An alysis of lear ning methods; Teachi ng Procedures and Blackboard desi gn.Part 1 Analysis of the Teaching Materials. The main topic of this unit is the life in the futur

3、e. The students should learn to use the Simple Future Tense witWill to make predict ions. The stude nts have already learnb e going to to talk about the future pla ns in U nit6. So it won t be difficult for them to understand.This is the third period of this unit, it offers students the listening an

4、d speaking practice. The stude nts must pay atte nti on to the past ten se, the simple future tense and the simple present tense. After the class, the Ss can develop their listening and speak ing skills, and use the target Ian guage to talk about their past lives and the future lives.Part 2 An alysi

They ll mainly develop their abilitie of li

7、stening and speaking.No.3 Emotion aims: know about their own past lives, predict the future lives and make his own future plan.Important and difficult points. In this class, the important points are the new words and the simple future tense with will. The difficult points are the listening practice

8、and developme nt.Part 3 An alysis of teach ing methodsIn order to achieve my teachi ng aims, I will adopt“ 5P”o tesdphhng modeSs to learn the target Ianguage step by step. After the listeninghey ll have chances to practice speak ing, so in order to en courage the Ss to ope n their mouth to say, I th

9、em some truly situation. For example, I ll present pictures to show the differencesabout different years among my mother, my daughter and I First I ll discuss what my mother eat 20 years age, how did she go to work, where did she live at that time? And what will my daughter eat in 30 years, how will

10、 she go to work, where will she live?In order to make my less on lively and in teresti ng, I will also use Competiti on teachi ng method to arouse Ss in terests.Part 4 An alysis of lear ning methodsTeachershave teachi ng methods, of course, stude nts have lear ning methods, too.The students has alre

11、ady learnt be going to to talk about the future plans in Unit6.However, most of them still have difficulty in speaking and writing. In order to overcome the difficulty, I prefer to cultivate their abilities of observati on, cooperati on and self-adjusting. They should take an active part in my class

12、 activities to develop the liste ning and speak ing skills gradually.Part 5 An alysis of teach ing proceduresLet me mainly tell you my teach ing procedures. Here are 6 steps for the less on.Step 1 Preparation (4 )First of all, I will greet my Ss as usual. And divide the whole class into 2 groups to

13、have competitio n.At the beg inning of the class, I ll show some video parts from the scie nee fictionmovies to talk about what the future be like. Some prompting words will be shown to help the ss. By doing this, the Ss can review the target la nguage in Secti on A and improve their expressi on s.

14、A nd at the same time, I lllead them to learn the new words.Then, the Ss will have a quick test about the usage of more, less and fewer.Step 2 Presentation (5 )1. After warming up, I ll show the picture of Nie Haisheng. And ask my SWs: hatdoes he do? Where does he work? How does he go to work in the

15、 space? Then show the pictures to learn the new words. Then ask them to read for server times.Then divide the words into 3 categories, ask them to put each word in the correct column to help the Ss to memorize the words more easily.2. In order to encourage my Ss to add more words about the jobs, the

16、 transportations, the places to live. Ilal sk them to work in small groups and add 5 more words. Then tell them the first group to finish the activity is the winner, so that the activity may be more exciting.In this way, the new words may be presented naturally. This step can enlarge Ss vocabularies

17、 and sweep away the difficulties for listening.Step 3 Practice (12)This step provides listening practice by using the target language. Before listening,let students discuss the pictures. Let them have a good listening habit, this skill will help students get good grades.Listen for the first time, ma

18、tch the conversations with the pictures.Listen for the second time to give Ss practice for specific items in conversations.The Ss should fill in the blanks with the correct verbs. Then check the answers andthe forms of verbs should be attentioned.Listen for the third time, match the phrases with the

19、 correct column. It s every helpful. By doing this, the Ss can have a deep feeling about the different tense.Last, finish the conversation according to the listening. Itso thes a little difficult,tape should be stopped if necessary.In this step, let the Ss listen 4 times in order to improve their li

20、stening skills bygetting the key points.Step 4 production (13)After the listening, Ilgl ive student more speaking practice by using the target language. In this part, there re 2 tasks for them.(1). We will do a less open-endedactivity, which is the pair work in 1e. I lal sk a student to role play a

21、simple conversation about Joe s life now, ten years ago, and tenyears from now to give e xamples to the other students. I ll ask: Where do you live? Where did you live? Where will you live? etc.Give my Ss 2 minutes and then ask some of them to act out their conversations. Ifthey do well, we will cla

22、p hands for them. As for their mistakes, it nsormal. Afterthey fin ish the con versati on, correct the mistakes for the whole class.(2). It s a more opeted activity. I II presepictures to show the differences about different years among my mother, my daughter and I. First I discuss what my mother ea

23、t 20 years age, how did she go to work, where did she live at that time? And what will my daughter eat in 30 years, how will she go to work, where will she live?After that, ask them to work in groups to talk about the life 20 years ago, the lives now and the life in the future using the target Ian g

24、uage. I will go around the class and learn about how they are going on. At last, ask some groups to act out their dialogues. For the groups that are active and serious, or cooperate well, I will praise them and ask the others learn from them.This activity is not only interesting and creative but also an extension of the kno wledge and their abilities of com muni cat ing and cooperati ng.Step 5 Progress(5 )In order to check if my Ss have lear n
