6、155.1 the conditions of the work and solving methods .165.2 solving methods .16references 16摘 要: 课堂教学是学生学习英语的重要途径。尽可能多的关注学校的英语教学,教师必须设法调动学生的积极性从而使学生能够更好的掌握知识,使用肢体语言就是其中的一种方式。课堂教学导入对于英语的学习也和重要。课堂教学艺术是一个整体。而“课堂导入”是整个课堂教学的一个十分重要的环节,它是课堂教学整体的有机组成部分,也是激发学生求知欲的关键。俗话说,良好的开端是成功的一半。成功的课堂导入与之相比有异曲同工之妙。“导语,它是引
7、入新课的第一个重要的课堂教学环节。导语的心理任务在于激发兴趣和情感,产生学习动机,把学生引进课文的情境中去。”可见,导入语与文章开头一样,目的重在吸引。只有把学生吸进课堂教学中去,提高教学质量才有最可靠的基础条件。只有学生始终为教学活动所吸引并积极参与其中,这样的教学才称得上成功因为学生乐于学习。当然要使学生乐于学习,并不是单靠导入这一教学环节就能完全承担地起的。但毋庸置疑的是,开讲伊始,能令学生感到“有趣”,从而乐于听课,以使教学活动顺利进行下去,恰当精妙的导入是功不可没的。所以说,成功导入是教学成功的重要催化剂。关键词:英语; 导入; 技巧; 方法; 兴趣 abstract: as eve
8、ryone knows, the classroom teaching is one of the most important ways that the students learn english. in english teaching at a college is concerned, teachers first must arouse the students interest so that they may have more effective learning; body language used in english teaching is one way to d
9、o it. and classroom lead-in is also very important for english learning. as teachers, we must constantly be looking for better ways to help our students achieve effective results as quickly as possible. a skillful teacher wears many hats. dont you think its a welcome change for the teacher to be rec
10、ognized as a guide, facilitator, helper, adviser, coordinator, idea person, encourager, evaluator and co-communicator, in addition to being an instructor or director? the new teaching tasks should also include identifying students leaning strategies and helping students become more independent in th

12、ching is the organizer of the teaching process and the goal guide of classroom learning. teacher acts the leading role in teaching process. it is mainly manifested in the new knowledge instruction the demonstration, the drill, the utilization knowledge organizer, the instruction and the encouragemen
13、t, and the students who need help in their studies. these mainly manifest in the role of students playing, the higher initiation the student studies and the letter function of teachers display will indicate. these are mainly manifested and fully displayed in the role of student. the higher position
14、of initiation the student studied, the better function of teachers instruction will indicate. each kind of design for teaching activity must take the development of students ability first. the main work of english teaching is not only instructing knowledge and dispelling doubts, but creates a langua
15、ge environment for helping and impelling the student to receive english training and obtain the ability from the training. we should take the study as the center of gravity in english teaching, but not take the teachers as the center of gravity. the student is positive as “moving” and the teacher is
16、 good at “tempting”, with the coordination of “tempts” and “move” can form a good educational model. we must inspire the thought of students in teaching and truly advance the main status for student to acquire knowledge initiatively. try to establish the language situations and language environment
17、for the students to practice their language speaking and the ability of cooperation. according to the student psychology characteristic and the guidance and deal with the relations between teaching and study correctly. interest is the best teacher. motivating the students interest of learning englis
18、h is an important aspect in teaching english. we must try our best to motivate the students interest of learning english.the learning of english in china, however, has a long history and now occupies the attention of millions of its people. how many millions are there is hard to say, since much depe
19、nds on the level of proficiency one takes as the norm (crystal, 1985). but there are probably in the region 300,000,000 people actively engaged in the job of learning english. the psychologists drew a conclusion that the desire of learning is the inner motive of studentsstudy. and interest is the pr
20、econdition to form the desire of learning. if we motivated the students interest, the students would learn more energetically, and the teaching effects would be better and the students would be good at english. how to motivate the students interest of learning english?i think we must motivate the st
21、udents interest of learning from these aspects. first, the teachers (especially the english teacher) must be care of their appearance. good examples given by the teacher will be good at motivating studentsinterest. the second is teaching methods and technique. various and living teaching methods can
22、 effect the students interest. the third is teachers oral english. teachers oral english must be precise and sometimes with a sense of humor. the fourth is the relationship between the teachers and the students. harmonic relationship is helpful to motivate the students interest. and we also must be
23、careful of the other facts to raise the students interest, such as the environment of classroom and school. in a word, we must try our best to motivate the students interest of learning english. in the classroom, the teacher must be good at directing (acting) and make the classroom instruction. acco

27、chniques of lead-in in classroom teaching of college english; in the fourth section, i will discuss the introduction, contents, using and the future of the developing.2.2.1 technology and foreign language educationto place the potential impact of technologies in perspective for education in general,
28、 consider the following recommendations made in a recently completed study by the rand corporation for the white house office of science and technology policy and the office of technology of the u.s. department of education (glennan and melmed 1996). this study took an in-depth look at the role that
29、 technology is playing and probably should be playing in college schools today .educational technology has significant potential for improving students learning. (1)extensive use of technology in schools has the potential to promote significant school restructuring and expand the time and motivation
30、 for student learning. (2)the growth in use of technology by schools is strong; schools are adding equipment and developing connections to the national information infrastructure at a high rate. however, many schools still lack significant access to technology. (3)data from a study by the iea in 199
31、2 suggested the availability of technology in schools serving poor, minority, and special needs populations did not appear to lag substantially behind the averages of schools taken as a whole. however, to the extent that technology enables learning outside the school, large disparities in the access
32、 of students of different classes and ethnicity to technology is a matter of concern. (4)some schools and school districts have moved rapidly to a fairly ubiquitous use of technology, and their experiences should provide guidance to others that are following. (5)the costs of ubiquitous use of techno
33、logy are modest in the context of overall budgets for public elementary education but moving to such use requires significant and potentially painful restructuring of budgets. (6)when technology is deeply infused in a schools operations, teachers tend to assume new roles and require new skills. ther
34、e is a strong consensus among the experts we consulted that neither the initial preparation of teachers nor the current strategies for continued professional development have been effective in developing these skills. (7)while there has been a rapid expansion in home education software, the market f
35、or school-based content software has been modest and comparatively stagnant. quality content software for middle and secondary schools is not broadly available. however, this market is likely to evolve rapidlyso how do we make sense of imminent technological change and the status of technology imple
36、mentation in foreign language learning? the main purpose of this volume is to explore new technologies from the perspective of the foreign language teaching professional. gunther mueller, a member of the volume advisory committee, proposed the following graphic to help define the specific topics tha
37、t authors needed to cover. as illustrated, the areas to be addressed fall within the intersection of issues related to the learner, the teacher, the technology, and the curriculum and converge at educational and learning outcomes. it was not possible to present every specific issue implied by this d
38、iagram, nevertheless, volume authors were challenged to address areas such as:(1)electronic technologies and ways their impact can benefit each of the four language skills; (2)appropriate pedagogical strategies for technology in language learning; (3)specific, noteworthy, technology-based applicatio
39、ns for language learning; (4)teacher education issues; (5)technology implementation strategies to maximize positive impact on language learning outcomes; and (6)the potential for using technology to learn about the language learning process itself. 2.2.2 the analysis and character of techniques of l

43、e effectively, and teachers can improve the quality of teaching. with the swift development of science, more and more modern techniques have begun to serve teaching, and the most glaring is that computer and network techniques, widely used in western countries, are spreading in china rapidly, and th
44、eir advantages have begun to show cai(computer assistant instruction), the modernist means, is possible to be applied to teaching. multimedia techniques compounds texts, graphics, images, animations, audio and videos, and have the characteristics of variety, interactivity, and integration which make
45、 cai more vivid and comprehensive. whats more, when computers are linked to network, the quick, common and abundant information lets cai go out classrooms. and network can accompany the students daily life, and must be created, collected and developed by the teachers profound knowledge and hard work
46、. so cai will be effecting the teaching greatly, and theres no doubt that he who exercises cai early and appropriately will be in the lead in teaching.to get learner in the habit of really using the strategies, its a good idea to encourage them to set goals as students take more responsibility in th
47、eir learning they feel more successful when they attain their goal.traditionally, teachers are viewed as instructors who explain exactly what the students should do. but in an english classroom, the subject matter and the changes in the lesson objectives make it necessary for you to function in diff
48、erent roles. in fact, these changes strengthen your roles, making them more varied and more creative. in the past, the english teaching system put too much emphasis on the abilities of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, regardless of moral quality oriented. the teachers main task is to expla
49、in grammar rules, sentence structures and encourage the students to memorize as many new words as possible by doing a lot of boring exercises. in order to compete for high marks, the teacher paid much more attention to a few top students, but left the most alone. the students learned english without
50、 any interest and enthusiasm. as teachers, we must constantly be looking for better ways to help our students achieve lasting results as quickly as possible. a skillful teacher wears many hats. your new teaching capacities should also include identifying leaner strategies and helping students become
51、 more independent. when student take more responsibility, more learning occurs, and both teachers and learners feel more successful.3.2 principles of language learning and teachingfor those currently teaching an efl discussion or cultural studies course, the following unit is one way to engage unive
52、rsity or adult students in a meaningful exchange which explores cultural values. while many textbooks do deal with culture and cultural values, supplementing these texts can create a richer experience. one way to do this is to invite international students to the classroom to participate in a forum.
53、 inviting these speakers allows for a truer voicing of cultural values that does not solely rely on textbook and teacher interpretations. in addition, all participants have the opportunity to learn how cultural values are affected by factors such as religion, nationality, socio-economic status, and
54、personality. as brown (1994) suggests everyone must recognize, understand, and respect groups and cultures as unique before coming to the conclusion that people are all the same underneath.a key element of this mini-unit is to make use of a valuable resource which is often readily available but not
55、utilized by efl educators. from our experience in canada and japan, students who are studying an additional or foreign language are especially open to sharing their values and time. therefore, teachers can begin by contacting local universities in their countries that have special exchange or langua
56、ge programs for international students. surprisingly, many international students comment that they have few opportunities to meet and interact with adults or university students of the host country. thus, there is an opportunity to enrich classroom discussion and foster international contacts among
57、st these two groups of learners. in 1996, the japanese government provided scholarships to over 8,000 graduate students from around the world to undertake studies at national and prefectural universities (ministry of education, science, sports, and culture, 1997). the two intake periods are april and october with approximately 60% of
