2、of this paper is to analysis Toyota Auto corporationsstrengths, weaknesses, opportunities and the threats through using SWOT method. At the same time, human resource development displayed in the process of case analyzing. The major problems in this article are whamt akes Toyota become the world firs

The prospects of the Toyota and so on, the main purpose is to idToyota psroblems and shortcomings; and finally to find out the reasons caused these problems, in the end of the article, the author forward his own opinions and recommends for the To
4、yota s developing.Introduction of the ToyotaToyota is Japans largest car manufacturer, which was founded in 1933, and Toyota Company is headquartered in Toyota City. Initially is one of the Toyota Aut omatic Loom s production departments. In 1937, Toyota merged into Toyota Motor Co., since then, Toy
5、ota established several related compa ni es, in clud ing Toyota Mach inery Co., Ltd. in 1941, and Toyota Body Co. in 1945, In the 1960s and 1970s, Toyotas expansion rapidly, the vehicle volume even sold to foreign markets. And in 1982, the company obtained its present name-Toyota. Today, Toyota has
6、assembly pla nts and distributors in many coun tries, the compa ny also has the subsidiary which produce the motor vehicles line and the other parts, rubber and cork materials, steel, syn thetic res in, automatic loom and the cott on wool and so on. 7、nomic globalization development, more and more automobile manufacturers appeared,followed by the more and more intense competitive pressure, in addition, global economics nstability and uneven makes a great impact on the automotive industries developme nt. Econo mic depressi on and rising costs of r
8、aw materials and labor, competiti on in the automotive industry is also growing, and so on. All these questions caused every compa ny must repositi on its self, recreate the develop ing strategy.SWOT an alysis of ToyotaIn ternal en vir onmentStrengths: in research and development sector, Toyota Comp
9、any in order to be the leader in inno vatio n way, it has continu ously invo Ived in research and developme nt activities and uses this point as one of its strategies to stay in the market. The research and development activity done has been a success asToyota is now able to produce a customer car i
10、n five days. In addition, Toyota is also able to produce a commercially viable hybrid car, with this two n ewly found strategies, Toyota has continued to revoluti onize the auto in dustry. (Y. 11、all work are done accord ing to schedule, employees follow a well-defi ned seque nee of steps for a particular job, this shows that every employee follows he rules and this reflects that Toyota s management team has done a good job in managing the employees. Welltrained employees are more committed
12、to their jobs and in directly, it will help to boost the producti on volume. (Jo? o-P.B., 2011)Weaknesses: in year 2008-2009, the global finan cial crisis bring a great impact to Toyota sales in come, with the weak and slow-m oving econo mic around the world, hardly en able for Toyota to abstai n a
13、higher profit-margin as to compared to rece nt years, the closi ng of some of its plants i n China proves that Toyota s financial or liquidity state unable support its expla nati on of product ion in other coun tries like China. Therefore, it would be a weak ness for Toyota duri ng the global econo
14、mic crisis whereby losses of clos ing its pla nt and the cost of construction shall be bared by Toyota which naturally caused the corporation s liqui,fall. (S.K. Breja, D.K. 15、rstand the role played by the scientific process in its culture, Toyota took one step further to evaluate its problem-solvi ng process. Toyota makes itself fully un dersta nd its curre nt state of affairs and also the norms before pla nning for improveme nts, this is importa nt, and n eeded to be do
16、ne beforeha nd because by impleme nti ng the wrong pla n or pla n that con tradicts, with the culture of either party (the company itself or the market), the market may be turned off and lose in terest as well as con fide nce towards Toyota. 18、ed path, in directly, it will boost the efficie ncy level in producti on departme nt, and thus, more products can be produced in the same period as the time before more adva need mach ines were brought in. (Chuck W., 2008)Threats: Looking at the buying pattern of today s people, this kind of consump
19、tion becomesmore and more less, and this is due to the current situation faced by people during recession.At this point of time where economy is not doing quite well though improving, people tend to save more money for rainy days. (Patrick V., Stijn H., 2010) As a result, people send less on their w
20、an ts, Toyota should fell the impact of sessi on because people now spe nd less and they are not willi ng to spe nd thousa nds of money just buy a car whe n they already have one. As an effect, Toyota sales figure will drop while all other fixed cost such as utilities expenses, floor rent, etc. are
21、needed to be paid, if this is to be continue for a long time, most of the Toyota s factories may be closed down. (Nabyla D., 2011)RecommendationAs the largest automobile manufacturing company, Toyota attracted in the world-wide attention, Toyota s any decision may become the focmusa,ttneor the stren
22、gths, weaknessesor the opportunities and threats, Toyota was staring at by the medias all over the world, because Toyota is the first. (Marios I. K., 2006) To continuous maintain the first position is a big challenge for the company itself, increasing cost of raw materials and workers, emerging new
23、technologies, Increasing competitors and so on, all these lead the first position is not forever. So, to keep the first position in a longer time, what Toyota has to do is innovation, not only in human resource sector, but also in operation and information selection.ConclusionThe case lead the autho
