1、单元的教学设计与分享unit 4 hobbies 一、教材分析本单元围绕着谈论“爱好”来展开听、说、读、写的训练。通过介绍不同人的兴趣爱好等来描写我们日常生活中一个最经常长谈论的话题,使学生能更好的更多的在平时用英语表达自己的学习与生活。语法方面主要学习when和uesd to do的用法。本单元具体学习内容见“认知目标”。二、教学对象分析1. 学生对“爱好”这个话题会比较感兴趣,有利于开展本单元的各项听、说、读、写任务。2.学生对于when的用法其实并不陌生,从小学到现在一直有接触,只是还没有进行专项的归纳性的学习。在本单元,教师可系统地帮助学生温故而知新,引导学生在一定的语境中熟练运用这个
2、连词连接两个简单句,并注意时态和位置的一些变化。而对于used to do这新的语言点就相对陌生,教师要帮助学生理解其各种格式及用法,必须通过一定的练习来巩固。三、单元教学目标1.认知目标: 学习水平学习内容学习水平的描述语音1. 能准确读出以下两对音标的发音及掌握其基本的字母组合发音规律: /-/:/, /h/-/r/2. 能流利地朗读课文及与课文水平相当的短文, 语音、语调、句子重音和停顿基本正确。词汇1. 重点词汇单词:star, expensive, through, group, shape, move, however, another, planet, able, even, s
3、ize, photograph, interesting, especially, remember, example, history, mend, collect, special, page, alone, net, umbrella, rush, worm, believe, score, cemtre, worst, worse, fold, paper, corner, bottom, direction.词组:used to do, billions of, be able to, take photographs, as well as, all over the world,

6、料。2. 能就课文内容进行问答。3. 能复述课文大意。4. 能背诵课文中的重点句型或句子。书面表达1. 能用两种或者多种方式表达同一种爱好。2. 能用本单元学习的重点词汇、句型进行造句。3. 能写出自己或者熟悉人的爱好。2. 思想情感目标:1)通过介绍不同人的兴趣爱好等来描写我们日常生活中一个最经常长谈论的话题,使学生能更好的更多的在平时用英语表达自己的学习与生活。2)培养学生热爱生活的情感态度。3. 能力发展目标:1)能够在听、说、读、写等语言综合实践活动中运用本单元所学的重点词汇、句型与语法。2)在学习中提高交流和传递信息的能力,在写作中正确运用连词when和used to,使文章更连贯和
7、流畅。3)通过指导学生在模拟交际中运用所学的知识,培养学生探究学习、合作学习、自主学习的能力。四、单元教学重点1. 学生熟练掌握重点词汇37个,短语15个。2指导学生利用所学句型正确表达思想、进行交际活动。3指导学生归纳、总结连词when和used to的用法并在实践运用中熟练运用它们。五、单元教学难点1. 通过形式多样的课堂活动与任务,帮助学生完成阅读理解、听力理解等学习任务。2. 引导学生积极主动地探究学习,通过讨论分享等方式谈论与本单元主题相关的信息、资料等,并能与同学进行相互交流,培养学生探究学习、自主学习、合作学习的能力。六、教学策略1在教学中,教师应积极创设情景引入,配合媒体、表情
8、、动作、进行视听说演示,激发学生兴趣,以听说带读写。2教师应采用有利于学生学习的教学方法,善于引导学生通过阅读或观察、比较对知识进行归纳总结。增加学习内容的复现和巩固练习、及时反馈学习学习情况等。3教师应该根据自己学生的具体情况对教材进行整合,精讲多练,调动学生的学习兴趣,使他们积极参与课堂各种学习活动。在阅读的过程中,教师指导学生培养阅读策略与技能及写作过程中的写作技巧训练。七、媒体的选择与设计1充分利用和发挥基本教学媒体,如课本、教师的身体语言、卡纸的作用。2适时合理地使用计算机多媒体,增大课堂的容量,更好地辅助课堂教学。八、各课时教学内容安排建议课时教学内容及课型教学目标及简单教学环节设
9、计第一课时reading a(阅读课)一、 定位与教学目标: 本课是阅读教学课。本阅读课的教学目标是让学生通过阅读patrick moore关于他自己爱好(学习和研究星星)的一篇文章,让学生了解一些关于星星的知识,同时引出本单元的话题“爱好”。教师在教授课文时,注意指导学生运用一些阅读学习策略,培养阅读技能。二、 教学设计:1. warming up: talk about the cartoon on page 49 and ask what hobbies the students have.2. leading-in(1) ask the students to discuss the
10、questions in a1, readinga and then talk about something about stars.(2) show the students some pictures about stars and different groups of stars; ask if they know the names of them.(3) show the students a video about hobbies.( (视频来源)3. reading (1) scanning, let the students read the text quickly an
11、d ask them to try to get a general idea of the article. (2) skimming, let the students read the text again and finish exercise a3; then check the answers orally. 4. language points (1) get the students to discuss in pairs or groups and ask them to find out the language points as many as they can. 12、) explain the usage of some important and difficult phrases or words to the students.5. play the video and let the students get a better understanding of the article. 13、7. homeworkstudents finish some exercise in book b. 课时教学内容及课型教学目标及简单教学环节设计第2课时language(语法课)一、定位与教学目标:本课是一节语法课,主要学习when引导额的时间状语从句和used to do的各种用法。教师可以根据reading a中when和used to do出现的一些句子,边复习readinga边引入语法教学。二、教学环节设计:1. revision (reading a) ask the students what the author did when he was young? students
14、 are required to use “used to do” to answer the question.2. when (1) tell the students that “when” links two clauses in one sentence and suggests two actions happening at the same time. ask them to make sentences using when as many as possible. (2) tell them the positions of when in a sentence and t
15、heir differences. finish exercise on p.55.3. using used to/ did not use to (1) explain that we use “used to do” to say something happening regularly or requently in the past, but not any longer at the present. tell the students its negative form and how to use it in question. (2) ask the students to
16、 make sentences using “used to do” and finish the exercise on p.56.4. homework students finish the exercise, language part in book b.课时教学内容及课型教学目标及简单教学环节设计第3课时reading b(阅读课)一、 定位与教学目标:本文是阅读教学课,但也可以兼顾听说。本课的教学目标是通过让学生阅读taking photographs一文,明白爱好可以多种多样,加深对本单元话题的了解。二、 教学环节设计;1. revision let the students
17、review what they learned in reading a, and the usage of when and used to do .2. leading-in (1) show the students a video about hobbies. 18、(1) let the students read the text quickly and finish the exercise below; then check the answers orally. (2) play the tape for the students.4. language points (1) get the students to discuss in pairs or groups and ask them to find out the language points as many as they can. (2) explain the usage of
19、 some important and difficult phrases or words to the students. e.g. as well as; all over the world; answer to the question; take a photograph for sb.; in the past.5. play the video and let the students get a better understanding of the article. 20、show the students some pictures and ask them to discuss what they can get from the pictures.7. homeworkstudents finish some exercise in book b.课时教学内容及课型教学目标及简单教学环节设计第四课时listening(听力课)一、定位与教学目标:本课是一节听力教学课。教学目标是指导学生学会做听力笔记,完成听力填空。教师在教学的过程中要注意培养学生学会猜词、用缩写等以促进学生的听力能力。二、教学环节设计:1. warming up(1) ask the st
21、udents to discuss what they should pay attention to when completing notes in listening. (2) tell the students how to guess a missing word in listening. 2. listening a (1) let the students read through listening a and try to guess the missing words. (2) students listen and try to fill in the blanks i

23、book b.课时教学内容及课型教学目标及简单教学环节设计第5课时speaking & writing(口语写作课)一、 定位与教学目标:口语:说;写作:练习写。让学生掌握两组音的区别,通过speak up练习发音,通过写练习一些重要句型和短语,同时再深化本单元话题。二、 教学环节设计:1. presentation present some words such as paper, bird; hand, read. get the students to read the words and ask them to pay attention to the underlined lette
24、rs pronunciation.2. talk time play the tape for the students and ask them to read sentence by sentence.3. speak up ask the students to practice the dialogue again and again.4. writing (1) ask one student to say a sentence about his or her hobby and another to express it in another way. e.g. my hobby
25、 is collecting stamps. collecting stamps is my hobby. (2) get the students to finish exercise a. 26、单教学环节设计第6课时more practice(拓展课)一、 定位与教学目标:本课是一节拓展课。学生通过学习关于体育运动的对话和报告,接触平时在学校最熟悉的一种爱好体育运动。同时也学习怎样和别人谈爱好,加深本单元所学知识的印象。二、教学环节设计:1. warming up (1)ask the students what they like doing best or what their hobbies are at school. (2) ask them what their favourite sports are at school. (3) show the students s
27、ome pictures about sports, especially about football.2. more practice a (1) get the students to listen to the dialogue and answer the questions with books closed. then check the answers. (2) ask the whole class to read the dialogue and then some pairs of students to act it out.3. language focus expl
28、ain some phrases and ask them to learn by heart. e.g. the lastmunutes; think of; except4. more practice b get the students to listen to the report and answer the questions with books closed. then check the answers.5. play the video and let the students get a better understanding of the article.
