3、 乘船my father goes to work by bike. 我爸爸骑自行车去上班。（2）交通工具前如果加限定词，不能用by，要换成其他介词。on a bike on ones bike in a car 骑自行车 乘小汽车i often go to school on my bike. = i often go to school by bike. he goes to school in his fathers car. = he goes to school by car.（3）走路，步行on foot, foot不能变成复数feet，要用单数。my mother goes to

5、s kind of watch / this kind of watches 这种手表（2）different kinds of = different types of 不同种类的you can see different kinds of animals in the zoo. 在动物园你可以看到不同种类的动物。（3）all kinds of = all types of 各种各样的there are all kinds of goods in the supermarket. 超市里有各种各样的商品。6. help帮助 （1）help sb（to）do sth. 帮助某人做某事，其中to

6、可以省略。he often helps his mother（to）do farmwork. 他经常帮助妈妈干农活。（2）help to do 帮助做某事，其中to不能省略。can you help to clean the house? 你能帮忙打扫房子吗？（3）help with 在某方面帮助某人，with后面一般跟名词he often helps me with my english. = he often helps me to study english. 他经常在英语方面帮助我。7. be over与end （1）over是副词，be over是指一次活动、节目、课、学期结束cla

7、ss is over. 下课。school is over. 放学。the meeting is over. 散会。the football game is over, lets go back to the classroom. 足球赛结束了，我们回教室吧。（2）enda. 动词，结束；终止例：school ends at 5:00 pm. 下午5：00放学。b. 名词：末端，尽头，末尾例：from beginning to end 从头至尾the end of the book 书的末尾8. a piece of, piece在此当“块、片、段、张、篇、首、幅”的意思。a piece of

10、.（2）以y结尾的基数词构成序数词时，先把y变为i，再加-eth。（3）序数词前通常要加the，有时前面可加a或an来表示“再一”、“又一”的意思。（4）两位数的基数词变为序数词时，只需将个位数变成序数词，十位数不变。（5）有时基数词和序数词均可用来表示编号或序号。例如：first 第一 second 第二 third第三 fourth第四 fifth第五sixth第六 seventh第七 eighth第八 ninth第九 tenth第十twentieth二十 twenty-first第二十一 twenty-second第二十二（6）其中有几个序数词+th拼法不规则，fifth第五，eight
