浅议主谓一致的用法

1、浅议主谓一致的用法在新教材高一英语中 book4 中 unit1 中讲到了主谓一致，而且是高中英语语法中的难点也是重点， 作者根据这个语法要点和满足学生的需求， 提升学生对这语法的掌握。 特别实行了专研和查阅大量的资料， 也针对该语法在高考中的出现的比例和以如何形式出现在考题中， 把自己在教学中所得的体会和总结都概括在我以下的观点中。在英语中的主谓一致一般都要遵循以下三个原则，即语法一致、意义一致和邻近一致。语法一致原则 语法上一致就是谓语动词和主语在单、 复数形式上保持一致即谓语动词的单复数形式依主语的单复数形式而定。 主语为单数是谓语用单数， 主语为复数谓语动词也用复数。不定代词（nobo

2、dy, anybody, everything, anything等）作主语谓 语用单数，例如： my father is working on the farm. to study english well is not easy. what he said is very important for us all. nobody is here.注意：动词不定式作主语谓语用单数，动名词作主语谓语用单数，但是俩个并列的动名词作主语谓语可要用复数。由 what 引导的从句作主语谓语用单数，但它的表语是复数时，谓语用复数,而且 what 从句是一个带有复数意义的并列结构时主句的谓语动词用复数形式

3、。例如： what i needis money. what i want to buy are books. what i wear and use are here with me. reading is believing .（眼见为实） reading books and playing table tennisare my pleasures.由连接词and或both and连接起来的合成主语后面，要用复数形式的谓语动词。注意：若and所连接的两个词是指同一个人或物时，它后面的谓语动词就应用单数形式。如： the writer and artist has come.由and连接的并

4、列单数主语前如果分别有no, each, every, morethan a （ an）， many a （ an） （很多）修饰时，其谓语动词要用单数形式。如： every student and every teacher was in the room.no boy and no girl likes it.主语为单数名词或代词， 即使后面跟有with ， together with， except， but，like ， as well as， rather than， more than， no less than， besides， including 等引起的短语， ，谓语动词仍

5、用单数形式；若主语为复数，谓语用复数形式。即谓语根据介词前面的名词的单复数形式来定如： mr. green， together with his wife and children， has come to china. nobody but （除、 、 、之外） jim and mike was on the playground. she， like you and tom， is very tall. 在定语从句时，关系代词that， who， which 等作主语时，其谓语动词的数应与句中先行词的数一致。但是 he is the only /last one of my friends

6、 who is working hard. 如果集体名词指的是整个集体，它的谓语动词用单数；如果它指集体的成员，其谓语动词就用复数形式。这些词有 family,class,crowd, audience等。如： class four is on the third floor. class four are unable to agree upon a monitor.注意：people, police, cattle等名词一般都用作复数。如： the police are looking for the lost child.the cattle are eating grass on th

7、e hill. 由“ a lot of，lots of ， plenty of， the rest of， the majority of + 名词”构成的短语以及由“分数或百分数+名词”构成的短语作主语，其谓语动词的数要根据短语中后面名词的数而定。如： there are a lot of people in the classroom.the rest of the lecture is wonderful.50% of the students in our class are girls. 注意： a number of “很多”，作定语修饰复数名词，谓语用复数； thenumber

8、of ”的数量”,主语是 number,谓语用单数。 a large quantity of,quantities of ,a large amount of ,amounts of 后接名词作主语，谓语动词的书与 quantity 和 amount 保持一致。如： large quantities of landare wasted in the area.a large quantity of money was gone in the company today. 意义一致原则意义一致指不依语法形式而侧重于实际意义处理主谓关系，根据主语所表达的实际意义处理主谓关系。这种原则有几个方面来处

9、理和掌握。 一些以 -s 结尾的学科名（如 maths, physics, politics ） 、书名、报名（如 washington time§、国名（the united states 等等。例如： the united states is a developed country.i think physics isn t easy to study. trousers， glasses， clothes， shoes， 等词作主语时，谓语用复数，但如果这些名词前有a （the） pair of 等量词修饰时，谓语动词用单数。如： my glasses are broken.t

10、he pair of shoes under the bed is his. “定冠词the + 形容词或分词” ，表示某一类人时，动词用复数。如： the injured were well looked after by the doctors and nurses. 表示“时间、重量、长度、价值”等的名词的复数作主语时，谓语动词通常用单数形式，这是因为作主语的名词在概念上是一个整体.如： thirty minutes is enough for the work.twenty years is a long time.表数量的短语“ one and a half”后接复数名词作主语时，其

11、谓语动词可用 单数形式（也可用复数。如： one and a half apples is （are）left on the table. 算式中表示数目 （字） 的主语通常作单数看待， 其谓语动词采用单数形式。如： twelve plus eight is twenty.fifty-six divided by eight is seven. 就近一致原则 .就近原则指的是谓语动词的人称和数与它最近的名词和代词保持一致。有下歹u英语连词： either or, neither nor, whether or , not only but also, there be, not but.例如：either the teacher or the students are our f
