1、if you go to the party, you will have a great time today i will give you a talk about how to teach the lesson of “ if you go to the part, youll have a great time.” it is from the book 2 of grade 2. i divide my talk into 7 big parts: teaching material analyzing, teaching aims, teaching key points and

2、 difficult points, teaching methods and learning methods, teaching procedures, blackboard design, summary. now i will start my talk. i:teaching material analyzing: status and function: this lesson is focused on the topic of the consequences. since the main type is dialogue and its concentrate on the

3、 pictures, its helpful to improve the studentsthinking and speaking abilities. ii:teaching aims: 1.knowledge objects: to help the students to master the key vocabularies and target languages. its convenient for them to use in the future. 2.ability objects: to develop the ability of thinking independ

4、ently, to improve the listening, speaking, communicating and cooperating skill. these abilities help them study languages more easily in the days of future. 3.emotion objects: to enable the students to think the consequences before they do something. iii:teaching key points and difficult points: 1:

5、teaching key points: as we all know, the words and phrases are the basic structures of language, and the sentence form is important to the language too, so i think they should be the key points of teaching in this lesson. 2:teaching difficult points: speaking is one of the goals of english teaching,

6、 and language learning is for communication, so in this lesson, students learning to think the consequences and then using them to communicate is the teaching difficult point. iv:teaching methods and learning methods: 1:teaching methods: students play the very important roles in the whole teaching a

7、nd learning process. it s necessary to stimulate their initiative in learning. and it is known to us, learning the language is to communicate, so in the lesson ,i will mainly adopt the task-based teaching method and the communicative method is additional. in the lesson, i will ask the students to fi

8、nish some tasks firstly, then we talk and check the answers together. 2:learning methods: in this lesson, students will be demanded to make conversations, talk about, and think the consequences, so the cooperative learning method is suitable. v: teaching procedures: 1:warm-up: free talk between stud

9、ents and me. i: have you ever thought the consequences before you do something? for example: you get up late,(i write it on the blackboard) what the consequences will be? can you tell me?(translate these sentence into chinese so that the students can understand me.) s:yes. then i ask some students t

10、o give their different thoughts. i write them on the board just next to the premise which i write before. secondly, i go on asking some students to give some premises, and other students to give these premises possible consequences. i write them on the blackboard.( in this course, we may meet some n

11、ew words or languages, i will list them on the blackboard, and then teach the students about them.) thirdly, i will talk and check these consequences together with students. then ask them to read these sentences together. in the end, i say :” in this lesson, we are going to talk about the consequenc

12、es. purpose: this course leads out the topic. at the same time, it helps to develop the students ability of thinking independently. 2:presentation: (1) i ask students to look at the 1a part of page 34. fist, i read the instructions to the class, and explain the demands of this part. then i point to

13、the four pictures and ask students to tell what they see. ask two students to read the conversation in the first picture. explain that the possible consequence is the girl will go to the party with her two friends. i say: ”now read the statements and responses in the box, and match the statements wi

14、th the responses you think make sense.(in this course, i will answer any questions students may have about vocabulary, and i will write it on the blackboard, then teach them in detail.)next, students match the statements and responses. (2) let students look at the 1b part of page 34. i say:” you wil

15、l hear four conversations, each conversation will give you the matching response of 1a. then i play the recording, next, i say:” check your answers to activity 1a ” in the end, we talk about the answers together. purpose: this step is mainly to help students to learn some new words, phrases or langu

16、ages. at the same time, to improve their listening, thinking skill, and to cultivate the ability of finishing the task. 3:practice: next ,we turn to the part 1c. i read the instructions to the class, and point out the picture in activity 1a. secondly, i ask two students to read the sample dialogue i

17、n activity 1c. i say:” you will work with your partner, make a conversation using the things that are happening in the pictures. thirdly, i ask one or two pairs of students to present their conversations to the class. purpose: this activity provides guided speaking practice using the target language

18、, and develop the students communicative ability and the cooperative ability. 4:production: ask a pair of students to go to the platform, one speaks out the premise, the other gives the consequence. purpose: to consolidate the knowledge and improve the ability of using the language to express their thought freely.vi:summary:
