1、外国科学教师unos个案探究概述及启示摘要对近20余年外国科学教师科学本质观(简称 “unos”)的个案研究进行了概述。这些研究主要探究了影 响教师unos表达的主要因素以及教师所具有的unos是否能 反映到其教学实践中、是否会影响到学生的unoso对发展科 学本质(简称“n0s”)教育提供了可靠的理论依据及许多 基于事实证据的建议，同时也为我国学者深入开展科学教师 unos的个案研究提供借鉴。关键词科学本质观个案研究科学教育中图分类号g633. 91文献标识码b科学本质观 (understanding of nature of science, 简称unos)是人们对科学本质(nature

2、of science,简称 nos)的认识和理解，而nos即指科学知识及其发展所固有 的价值观和信仰的认识。早期研究表明，教师和学生对nos 的理解程度不如人意，而且学者们在关于教师unos与教学 实践之间关系的性质和程度方面存在着长期的分歧。虽然， 从一个人的行为来较为正确地推断出其哲学观念还存在着 众多疑问，可是教师对nos的理解是否会自然而然地表现在 教学设计和课堂实践中，这点在很大程度上仍是个学术性的 问题。尽管到目前为止，学者们在这方面开展了众多的相关 研究，但是仍存在许多分歧意见。李德曼等学者认为教师 unos与其教学实践之间并不是自发的映射关系，这种关系事 实上非常复杂。然而影响

3、教师unos与教学实践的积极因素 是教学信念，课程设置的目标则是消极因素。教师unos在 课堂上传达的不确定性源于学校复杂的学习环境。而造成这 种复杂关系的因素必须要经过系统地研究并被确定，这样才 能促进教师课堂实践的改善，科学教育改革才有前景。其实 践价值是如今正缺乏理解nos的教师，怎样将其转化或反映 到他平时的教学实践中去，进而影响学生的相关研究和知 识。基于文献报道，笔者总结了近20余年外国学者关于科 学教师unos的个案研究，并为我国学者开展此类研究提供 一定的借鉴。1外国科学教师unos个案研究概况外国学者们自1986年就开始了对科学教师unos的相关 研究，其中李德曼对该领域的贡

4、献较大。学者们针对教师 unos与其教学实践之间的关系也开展了许多研究工作，但结 果显示两者间的关系表现得非常复杂，有些学者认为教师 unos与教学实践之间并没有显著的相关性，而另一些学者的 研究却证实教师unos能在教学实践中很好的反映。当然， 影响教师unos和其教学实践两者之间相关性的因素非常复 杂，故李德曼等学者对探究影响这两者之间相关性的因素及 其作用机制开展了很多研究，他们发现教师的语言表达方式 会影响学生对nos概念的理解；1995年wang的研究结果则 更详细的显示出教师unos与科学教学、教师热情、学习和 教学的实务经验有关（表1）。在对教师unos与课堂实践的影响因素的研究

5、中，具有 代表性的工作当属李德曼对教师unos与其课堂实践之间关 系的促进或阻碍因素的研究（表1）。研究结果显示：（1）教 师的教学信念和课程设置的目标虽然都能影响教师unos在 教学实践中的表达，但作用是不一样的。前者具有促进作用， 后者则会阻碍这种表达。（2）相对于老教师，年轻教师往 往要花更多地精力去管理课堂及落实教学目标，而对nos 教学缺乏经验和信心。针对这种情况，他建议年轻教师应先 提高教学组织和管理能力，才能更好地传达nos。（3）教学 年资较长的三位教师的教学实践虽然比较符合其unos,但都 并非有计划地使其unos与教学实践相一致。故李德曼还建 议教师要内化课程改革规定目标的

6、价值，使课堂教学实践中 的nos显性化而这却与帕尔姆克维斯特（palmquist）和芬 利（finley）所提出的隐性教学更能影响学生unos的研究 观点相反,坚定nos教学信念，这样才能在完成规定课程 目标的同时，有效地向学生传达自己的unos,提高学生的 nos素养。2启示纵观外国学者的研究案例，笔者发现即使教师对nos有 充足的理解，也不一定能将其unos体现到教学实践中去， 也不代表其能帮助学生提高nos。教学信念、教师的热情、 经验、教学年资、学历背景、性别等是影响教师unos与其 教学实践相关性的因素。教师必须具备更多元的开放的教学 信念及传达nos的教学能力。比如：教师提供学生动

7、手做实 验的学习机会，积极提问增加学生思考的表达方式，师生间 有良好的互动，营造动态、愉悦的学习情境等。年轻教师应 该尽快熟悉课程标准及教材，对学生做好前期学情了解工 作，在实践中有意识地尝试使nos教学显性化，不断学习深 化nos相关知识，这样才能更快地成长为拥有先进unos,能 熟练地将其unos体现在课堂上，从而成为提高学生nos的 优秀教师。国内关于教师unos的个案研究仍十分匮乏，故广泛开 展类似的研究显得尤为迫切。最近，关于unos与教学实践 之间的相关性研究渐渐得到了我国研究者的重视，说明的问 题逐渐明朗。周巧学作为目前为数不多的研究者，提出教师 unos与教学实践的关系除了受上
