When she came into my room, I was just reading a book. Were you writi ng whe n the teacher cam

、e in? Sorry, I was教out whe n you called me. I had hardlyscarcely closed my eyes whe n some one kno cked at the door. 1. While my wife was read

、ing the n ewspaper, I was watch ing TV. 2. While Jim was mending his bike, Lin Tao came to see him.3. While they were talki ng, the bell rang. 4. You can ' t do your homework while you' re watching TV. 5. While Joh n was sitt ing bit ing his n

、ails, I was work ing out a pla n to get us home. 6. Strike while the iron is hot.

1. As my mother sang those old son gs, tears ran dow n her cheeks. 2. The stude nts took n otes as they liste ned学生们边听课边做笔记。3. 6、ught the ball, there was a teari ng sound. 1. As the time went on, the weather got worse. 2. The atmosphere gets thinner and thinner as the height in creases. 3. As years

、go by China is getting stronger and richer. 1. The sad mother sat on the roadside, shouti ng as she was crying. 2. As we were going out, it bega n to snow. 3. He came in as I was going to bed.

Whe n /While /As she was mak ing a phone call, I was writ ing a letter. 3. While/When/ As I was walking down the street, I

、 noticed a police car in front of thebank. 五、比较 while, when, as1) as, when引导短暂性动作的动词。Just as / Just whe n / Whe n I stopped my car, a man came up to me. 2) 当从句的动作发生于主句动作之前,只能用whe n引导这个从句,不可用as或while oWhe n you have fini shed your work, you may have a rest.

As the day we nt on, the weather got worse. 肯定句:I slept un til mid night. Wait till I call you.
