3、erprise are very important and can effectively avoid the market and industry risks. Without cultural ideas, the corporation will lack of its soul and direction, to let alone its development. In a knowledge-based economy era, the role of enterprise culture is very important. This paper will demonstra
4、te the functions of enterprise culture: enterprise culture can enhance the core competitiveness of a corporation, promote staffs abilities, establish correct direction to the corporation, promote sustainable development of corporation, be able to keep talents for the corporation, and its significanc
5、e to the development of a corporation. In my opinion, a corporation also needs spiritual and cultural ideas to guide its operation and development, without the support of cultural ideas, all e
8、nterprise operating activities will lack of its soul and it will lose its direction.Nowadays, in the aspect of corporation management, people are paying more attention to the strength of non-material factors. They begin to put the enterprise culture to the first place, because they realize the impor
9、tance of enterprise culture to the development of a corporation. We will discover that corporation can develop rapidly and successfully, it is because they have succeeded in creating a unique enterprise culture.As we all know, enterprise culture has its similarities in different corporations: there
10、is a full reflection of the companys purpose or spiritual values; The workers are regarded as the greatest wealth. The human values, requirements and training are concerned by the managers. We know, any corporations development and success is a hard project, so we should rely on its brain, namely th
11、e enterprise culture.All management philosophy and business ideas of a corporation are contained in its concept. If its culture is still not attractive enough, we can say it is still remain at a preliminary phase. For a company, the staff are the carrier of its spirit, the mental outlook of the staf
12、f directly reflects the operation of the corporation. As the competition is becoming more fierce, as to corporations, they should try their best to provide a good external environment and an active inner atmospher for the staff in order to meet their requirements and bring benefits for the company.

The Significance of Enterprise Culture As we all know, enterprise culture is the internal need for a new corporations survival and development. So we should make good use of enterprise culture to improve competitiveness of the cor
14、poration. Building enterprise culture and give full play to people is a trend of the world, moreover, the wisdom and creativity of the staff are choices of high-level modern management. To build enterprise culture and improve the cohesion and the competition in the market is the basic strategy of ex
15、istence and development of a corporation, through building an enterprise culture and enhance the vitality of the corporation can ensure the healthy development of the market economy. To establish a strategic awareness of enterprise culture can enhance the strategic viewpoint and realize the function
16、s of enterprise culture is the urgent need and inevitable trend to gain market shares and economic competitive advantages.2. Functions of Enterprise CultureEnterprise culture plays an important role in their employees and management, especially when the market competition is keen, the influence of c
17、ulture is even stronger than the other factors such as managing tactics, managing systems and organizing structure. The functions of enterprise culture are mainly expressed as follows:2.1 Enhancing Core CompetitivenessEnhancing core competitiveness is crucial for the development for a corporation. t
18、he recent studies point out that the competitive power of a corporation is the ability to continue to sell products and services, these two are more effective than other elements of the corporation, and could help obtain the profit and improve overall quality. Core competitiveness include the elemen
19、ts of the management structure, external and internal environment, resources, relations, the operation of corporation, the size, brand, and property. There is a deeper level of the core competition that is corporation conception, corporation image, innovation abilities, individual feature of differe
20、nt corporation, financial soundness, long-term goals of excellent culture and development. The first level is the surface competition. The second level is the most crucial competitive power. From the above we can see that the enterprise culture plays an important role in enhancing their competitive
21、power. The contents of enterprise culture are simple and clear. If the value has been accepted by all the staff, under the guidance of such value, the staff will form a strong sense of mission in the practice. Moreover, the whole employees of a company will form an excellent image for the corporatio
22、n. I think it is the basis of a company for further development.Nowadays the internal resources of a corporation are becoming more and more important. Generally speaking, they are often divided into three major aspects as follows: physical resources, human resources and intangible resources. The for
23、mer two have been paid much attention, but the latter one is often easily neglected by many people. With the development of economy, the invisible resources are the key element for economic development. Its advantages demonstrated its superior strength, invisible resources contain the reputation of
24、a company, its brand, enterprise culture and customer loyalty and so on. Competitors can quickly grasp the advantages of them and do successful business. In fact, the invisible resources are an invaluable asset for a corporation. They have a close relation to the flourishing of a company.2.2 Functio
25、n of Promoting the StaffBecause the ideas of the staff are the core of enterprise culture, they decide the ways of thinking and behaviors of the staff, therefore, a good enterprise culture can fully exploit the potential and stimulates the moral of the staff, meanwhile, as a spiritual force, the ent
26、erprise culture is a kind of restriction and pillar of a corporation, when corporation management tends to team management, it is a mutual understanding between members. When a good enterprise culture is founded, it brings a group of wisdom, the spirit of collaboration, fresh vitality, and it will p

Of course, unsuccessful enterprise culture will hinder corporation development.For example, the General Electric Company in the United States sets a high goal of the task of its employees, however, the company often indicates the target with the sa

If it is a personal matter, the company pays more attention to the progress of the staff, unlike some companies that punish the staff who make mistakes, the company often chooses the way of giving prize to encourage

Restriction function can improve consciousness and self-restriction of the staff, it can make the staff to define the meaning and method, and improve their responsibilities.For example, when the LG Electronic Limited is founded, the internal collaboration had no ready-made model an

These concept often arise from deep culture
34、background. Successful enterprise culture will help corporation to tide over temporary difficulties and bring an upturn to the economic efficiency. For long-term development, enterprise culture is a decisive factor to make corporation stronger and sustainable development.Now lets have a look at anot

The essence of enterprise culture reflected on its core value, the key of corporation growth is that core values
38、 must be accepted by the successors of the company, and they should have an attitude for self-criticism, this will be able to make the core value and other conception continue and keep its vitality. As the social environment is always changing, many corporations are begin to realize its significance

Mobilize the activeness of the staff and the corporation is bound to have a bright future. it will result in the sustainable development of a corporation. We can say that although a corporation can also grow without a good enterprise
40、culture, they will not keep a sustainable growth. Like the failure because of poor management and image, they failed to pay enough attention to innovation, thus they ultimately disappeared in the fierce competition. In the age of knowledge-based economy, the enthusiasm of the staff will be greatly i
41、mproved by excellent culture. If a company has excellent culture and vigor then it will be very easy to reach a consensus among the staff and the top management. By doing so, the communication may be very smooth, thus lead them to make efforts for the development of the company. It is known to all o
42、f us, Zhang Ruimin, a well-known entrepreneur in China, he said to the media: the past success of Haier is the success of concepts and modes of thinking, and the soul of business development is enterprise culture. 43、on why Haier become so popular and successful today.2.5 Being Able to Keep Talents for CorporationWith Chinas entry into WTO and the coming of knowledge-based economy, competition mainly refers to the competition for talents. Person with capability has become the key to survival and development, col
44、lecting a lot of outstanding talents and retaining them are very important to the development of corporation, the rivalry of the talents has become an important aspect in international competition. After the entrance to the WTO, the transnational corporations pay much attention to the Chinese market
45、, at the same time, the contest of resources and markets between the local corporation and multinationals, more and more Chinese talents have also become targets to the foreign corporations, this makes the fight for talents fiercer. And in the competition for talents, the most important thing is not
46、 the money, but the enterprise culture. If the reward is considered as criterion, the staff will have a sense of unsafe and they will frequently switch the position and after a long time it will create a vicious cycle, so it will have a negative impact on the talents growth and corporation developme
47、nt. Nowadays some people have changed their idea of choosing jobs. A global human resources statistics shows that in the multinational corporation,89% of the resignations said that they submitted the resignation has no relation to the low pay, in my view, people-oriented enterprise culture can attra
48、ct talents, this because the employees will have a strong sense of belonging and a feeling of self-realization, hence many people choose to work for the companies that attracted by good enterprise culture. I once read an article: a girl and her classmate worked in a company, she was 20 years old whe
49、n she entered the company, but three years later, she got a disease, so she had to leave the company, when she was dying, she made her last wish that she want to have another look at her previous company. As to me, it is really incredible. Why? How does this show? Nothing but the good culture of the
50、 company and its charm attracted people. So we can conclude that good enterprise culture is essential for the lasting development of a company. It is true that when the material needs have been satisfied, there will be a high level of demand. The interests of the material are very small right now, t
51、herefore if corporation simply rely on high salaries, high treatment, it is difficult to recruit and retain capable people. because their high level of demand cannot be satisfied by high salaries, only a strong enterprise culture can attract them and make them have a strong sense of self-realization

The competing for talents is in fact reflecting on the different enterprise culture competition, all kinds of talents will choose the suitable companies through the understanding of enterprise culture.I heard a story about Haier that a college student worked in it just for a short period of time,
