The self is more distant than any star. Thus, our life is a journey of unrelenting efforts to discover more o

3、f ourselves. When I as six, I constantly pictured myself as an elegant skilled pianist, rendering Chopins nocturne beautifully on the stage, receiving arm applause after my performance. Hoever, as I furthered my piano lessons, it as hard to be oblivious of my ungifted skills. Sometimes I couldnt hel

4、p but have this feeling of despair hen I oke up to the reality and discovered that my goal as unrealistic. Brutal but real, it as the first time I had discovered that I couldnt have it at all. When I as telve, I thought the coolest job in the entire universe as to be a surgeon. I spent hours and hou

5、rs atching the drama Greys Anatomy and couldnt help falling in love ith the kind of life those doctors lead on the screen. I as utterly mesmerized by the scalpel and all those fancy medical terms they use. Hoever, I stopped dreaming about being a surgeon hen I discovered that it as the idea of being

6、 a surgeon that appealed to me, not hat it truly as. As a result, the dream ended, and I discovered some more about myself. This year I turned sixteen, and I could proudly say I do not dream to be, but ascertain to pursue being a layer in the future. Since junior high school, I had alays been aarded

7、 the most eloquent debater in every single debate I participated in. I can not only think logically, but also deliver my thoughts properly. My huge interest in philosophy also adds to my reasoning henever I try to argue on something equivocal. Being aare of the obstacles and hardships on the ay to b

8、eing a great layer never panics me, for the simple reason that I have this faith and passion in hat I am aspiring after. G. K. Chesterton as absolutely correct. The most plicated part of prehending the orld is the study of the someho smaller orldourselves. Ive subsequently realized that groing up is
