4、形容词 使.处于某种状态e.g. 他的话让我很高兴。what he said makes me happy.look 在这里的意思是:看起来 是连系动词,后面加形容词作表语。还有其它几个系动词:sound, smell, taste, feel, get, grow, turn, becomereal 意思是:adj, 真的 really是副词, 修饰动词。如:i (real) dont know how to drive a car .5)she likes to help people .like to do sth :喜欢做某事,通常指非习惯性的爱好like doing sth 喜欢做某
5、事,指个人的爱好兴趣等eg:i like to eat mooncakes.我喜欢吃月饼。(指中秋节的时候吃) i like reading books .我喜欢读书。 (指读书是个人的爱好)。6)she always helps me with my homework.help sb with sth 帮助某人做某事 =help sb do sth help 帮助,有名词和动词两种词性。eg:thanks for your help .谢谢你的帮助。(help是名词) thanks for helping me.谢谢你帮助我(help是动词)7)she wears a smile on he
6、r face .wear 意思是穿着,戴着。 e.g. wear glasses 戴眼镜wear a smile on ones face 面带笑容 ( wear的意思是: 面带,面露)8)feel bored 感到无聊bored 无聊的 (主语是人)boring也是无聊的意思,但是主语是物。如:i feel bored because of this boring film .类似的单词还有:amazing,amazed;surprising,surprised;interesting,interested, frightened, frightening, excited, excitin
7、g, 9)she would like to be a teacher when she grows up .would like to do sth = want to do sth 想要做某 would like to be 意思是想成为,同意短语:would like to become 10)i believe she will be a very good teacher . believe 意思是:相信,认为 如: i believe what he said. 其否定句是:i dont believe what he said. (和i think 一样, 其否定句有否定转移的现
8、象。)11)describe his/her future plans .future 意思是将来短语:in the future 在将来step 2 summary 1.students read the table in part a on page 19. sum up the words to describe the different parts of a body. 2. students use these words to describe their classmates. work in groups.step 3 reading 1. students listen t
9、o the tape and try to find the answers to the following questions:who is daniels best friend?where does she live?what does she look like?what is she like?what would she like to be when she grows up? 2. students read the passage, and find out the main expressions and main body. 3. help students sum u
