1、中国女鞋生产基地惠东 从1981年开始起步，经过20多年的发展，广东省惠东鞋业已形成了制鞋、鞋材、制鞋技术、流通市场等配套齐全、分工协作的制鞋体系和专业化、规模化、集约化的发展格局，造就了一批知名企业和名优品牌。2006年6月，惠东县被广东鞋业厂商会和广东省皮革工业协会联合授予“广东女鞋名城”和“广东省鞋材生产基地”称号；2006年8月，被中国轻工业联合会和中国皮革协会联合授予“中国女鞋生产基地”荣誉称号。惠东鞋业已成为中国鞋业“三驾马车”之一，与浙江温州的皮鞋、福建泉州的运动鞋并驾齐驱。产业规模优势突出全县现有制鞋企业4500家，其中女鞋企业占98，从业人员达26万多人，拥有自动化制鞋生产流

2、水线322条；冠省名的制鞋企业有3家，冠市名的45家，有2家企业被省科技厅认定为民营科技企业，有15家制鞋企业被评为惠州市民营企业100强；年产值2000万元以上制鞋企业有70多家，年产值500万元以上制鞋企业有100多家；年产鞋50万双以上的企业有95家；全县有100多家制鞋企业建成花园式厂房，面积共162万平方米。目前，惠东鞋业的发展已由黄埠、吉隆向平山、大岭等镇延伸发展，产业规模越来越大。产业外向型特色鲜明全县制鞋企业已拥有8000多人的营销队伍，在广州、北京、上海、沈阳、香港等100多个大中城市建立了“惠东鞋连锁商城”，产品远销东南亚、欧美、非洲等50多个国家和地区。全县有260家制鞋

3、企业取得了一般纳税人资格，100多家取得自营进出口权，132家鞋企业在海外设立了贸易部，遍布数十个国家和地区，形成规模较大的销售网络，产品的市场占有率逐年提高。 2008年，全县产鞋6亿双，其中90%为女鞋，产值180亿元，占全国总量的7.5，占全省的16.5，占全县工业总产值的45%。鞋产品出口总额78亿元，占全县出口产品的41%。产品合格率99%20世纪90年代惠东鞋业蓬勃发展的时候，一些精明的台商、港商纷纷前来投资开办制鞋企业。尽管这样，惠东鞋业主并没有排挤同行，而是通过提升质量和技术，搞好流通，提高知名度和信誉度，使自己的产品始终一枝独秀，独占鳌头。经过20多年的发展，民营制鞋企业占了
