4、mber 10, October 1, December 25.Step 3 Presentation (Part A)Tim and Koko are looking at photos.1、Bring in a greeting card for a holiday.2、(Books closed.) Show the pupils the card and ask them What is this? to review their existing vocabulary. Then ask them When do we send greeting cards? Write the n

5、ames of the holidays, National Day, Childrens Day, Teachers Day, and Christmas Day on the board.3、Take one example of a holiday, e.g. Childrens Day. Ask the pupils What do we do on Childrens Day? Suggest and mime making a card, singing a song, writing a poem or drawing a picture.4、Show Transparency.

6、 Play the Pupils book Cassette and point to the speech bubbles. Ask the pupils to repeat after the tape.Step 4 Practice1、(Books open.) Show Transparency. Point to the photo album Tim is holding and ask the pupils to tell me the names of the holidays shown in each picture. Read the conversation betwe

7、en Tim and Koko. Ask the pupils to repeat the conversation after me.2、Point to each of the pictures in turn. Ask half the class to act Koko and the other half to act Tim.
