2、pular.However, not everybody enjoys watching these shows. 2. 情感态度价值观目的:理解一些选秀节目的本质及目的,正确对待生活中的一些歌星及影星,不要盲目地追风,做追星族。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。2阅读短文,获得相关信息,进步学生们的综合阅读才能。2. 教学难点阅读2b部分的短文并完成相关要求。三、教学过程I. Warming up 1. Presentation:Give Ss the pictures and the video of talent shows, and ask them:
3、Do you know them? Why do they become famous? 2. Pair workWho is the most talented person you know? What can he/she do? Talk about it. II. Reading Fast-reading1. Ss read the passage quickly and find the answers to the question: Which three talent shows are mentioned?Scanning2. T: Now lets work on 2c.
4、 First, lets read the questions and make sure we know the meanings of all the questions. Then read the passage again and find the answers to the questions. Ss read carefully and try to find the answers to the questions. Check the answers with the class. Careful reading Read paragraph 1 and finish th
5、e “true or false. 1 Its always boring to watch other people show their talents.2 Talent shows are getting more and more popular.3 There are talent shows only in America. Read paragraph 2 and write T for true or F for false. 1 Only actors join these shows.2 The singers themselves usually play a role
6、in deciding the winner.3 All these shows try to look for the best singers, the most talented dancers, the most exciting magicians, the funniest actors and so on.4 The winner always gets nothing at last.Post reading1. T: Read the passage again. You should underline all the superlatives in the passage
7、, then write sentences using at least four of them. Ss find the superlatives in the passage. Try to write their sentences. 2. Work on 2e. Ask Ss to add more talents and write a classmates name for each talent. Find out how many students in your group agree with you. 3. Show Ss important phrases in t
8、he passage.III. Language points 1. Whos Got Talents? 谁是达人? whos: who has的缩写 have got: “具有;具备 ,相当于have字面上的意思是“谁有才华?。e.g. Have you got time? Ive got something important to tell you. 你有时间吗?我有重要的事情告诉你。2. Talent shows are getting more and more popular.get在此处作系动词,意为“变得,后面通常跟形容词。 e.g. The weather is gettin
9、g colder. more and more popular意为“越来越受欢送。“more and more+形容词或副词多音节词和部分双音节词原级表示“越来越。e.g. He speaks more and more openly about his problem.【温馨提示】 对于单音节和部分双音节形容词和副词,要用“比较级+and+比较级这一构造表示“越来越。e.g. The sun is getting redder and redder. 【运用】单项选择。 1 The weather is becoming _. 12、的职责; 由决定, 句子的主语通常为it, 有时也可用this或that。 e.g. You can join the club once or twice a week its up to you. _6. When people watch the show, they usually play a role in deciding the winner. 人们看这类节目时, 通常承担着评判优胜者的角色。 play a role是一种固定表达, 意为“扮演某一角色; 起到某种作用。假设要进一步引出详细的内容, 后面应用介词in, 表示“在某事或某个方面起到作用或承担某种角色。 e.g. J
13、ohn is playing the leading role in this years play. _ Schools play the most important role in education. _7. However, not everybody enjoys watching these shows. not与表示全体意义的词如:all, every, everyone, everything等连用时,表示的是部分否认,而不是全部否认。部分否认的含义是“不都是;并不全是。 e.g. Not everyone in our class likes playing footbal
14、l. 在我们班并非每个人都喜欢踢足球。 enjoy doing sth. 表示“喜欢做某事。 e.g. I enjoy watching talent shows. 我喜欢观看才艺表演。 I enjoy travelling because I can meet different people and see beautiful places. 我喜欢旅游,因为我可以结识不同 的人和欣赏美丽的风景。8. Some think that the lives of the performers are made up. 有的人认为表演者的生活是杜撰出来的。 make up 编造故事; 谎话等 e
15、.g. The boy made up a story, it is not true. 那个男孩编了一个故事, 那不是真的。9. For example, some people say they are poor farmers, but in fact they are just actors. 比方就有人说自己是家境贫寒的农民, 但事实上他们是演员。 example n. 实例; 范例 for example 例如for example常用来引出同类人或事物中的一个例子 , 句中位置比较灵敏, 位于句首、句中或句末均可, 常用逗号与被列举的事物隔开。e.g. You can use a
16、ny two colors for example, red and yellow. He went to many countries last year, for example, Australia. 10. However, if you dont take these shows too seriously, they are fun to watch. 但是假如你不把这些节目太当回事,它们还是有看头的。take在此处有consider 认为; 觉得的意思。take someone/something seriously 相当于汉语“认真对待某人或某事; 把某人或某事当真的
17、意思。e.g. He was joking, but your sister took him seriously. 他是在开玩笑, 但你姐姐却把他当真了。11. And one great thing about them is that they give people a way to make their dreams come true. 而且有一点比较好, 就是它们给人们提供了一条实现自己梦想的道路。 give v. 提供; 给常用构造:give sb. sth. / give sth. to sb. 意为“给某人某物; 提供给某人某物 。e.g. Give your father
