Read the extract from The City of the Future and answer the questions.(Make sure the students understand the words “certain future” and “prediction”)2. Ask the students to read and answer individually. They
4、 can then check with a partner.3. Call back the answers from the whole class, having one student ask a question and another reply.4. Match the sentences A-F with the meanings 1-6(Call back the answers from the whole class, having one student read the sentence and another give the meaning, not just u
5、sing letters and numbers.)5. Work in pairs to discuss their choices in activity 3, having students read the complete sentence with the correct verb in it.Step3. Listening and Speaking1. Ask the students to think about their home, and make some notes under the three headings in the box.2. When they a

Ask the students to read through the questions and possible answers first.5. Play the tape through once while they just listen an

12、whole sentences.将来进行时1概念:将来进行时表示在将来某一时刻或某段时间里正在进行、可能发生或预计要发生的动作。2构成形式:will/shall be doingshall用于第一人称;will可用于各种人称。美式英语中所有人称都用will。3用法(1)表示将来某一时间正在进行的动作,一般带时间状语。I'll be having a meeting at this time tomorrow. 明天这个时候我将正在开会。They will be flying across the Atlantic at 5 o'clock this afternoon.今天下午
