1、Unit5Travelingabroad第一部分教学设计说明Aboutthetopicandthestructures单元话题和结构本单元的中心话题是出国旅游”,课文始终围绕这一主题展开。具体涉及在国外学习、旅游等,语言知识和语言技能部分主要是围绕旅游”这一中心话题进行设计的。本单兀语百功能项目是:喜欢/、喜欢;可能/不可能本单兀语言结构项目是“复习非限制性定语从句”。本单兀还要求学生学习写作“私人信函:笔友信”。金色教案教学设计在单元课时划分上与课本保持一致,即“阅读课、知识课、运用课三课时/三课型划分”。但在实际教学过程中,建议教师依据学生基础、教学条件、学校安排的因素,对课本、对金色教案

2、教学设计重新划分课时,裁剪、拼接使用提供的材料,以便“物尽所用”,达到最佳教学效果。教师也可以参照金色教案提供的“实际教学过程课时划分建议”进行教学。Period1Reading阅读课WarmingUp通过了解什么是留学,进行"热身”活动。留学,旧称留洋,一般是才H个人去母国以外的国家接受各类教育,时间可以为短期或长期(从几个星期到几年)。这些人被称为“留学生”。在中国大陆,学生把前往香港、澳门等地区的学习也称为留学,这是由于这些地区有着不同的教育制度。另外,美国等国家组织的一类海外短期的交换学生计划,其英文名字“Studyabroad”直译也为留学,请参见海外研修(中国大陆称为海外

3、交流)。Pre-reading讨论留学的原因。留学的原因主要后卜:开阔眼界和经验学习与该国有关的语言、文化知识;追求更好的教育条件;在从发展中国家到发达国家留学的学生中,这个原因最为常见;外交原因,政府之间为了表示亲善合作,可能互派学生、官员或者军人到对方学校学习;与移民有关的原因,例如:随父母暂时居住在外国的未成年人;以留学生身份申请学生签证,获得暂时定居权;熟悉该国社会,积累经验,为以后永久性定居做准备。Pre-reading部分设计了两个问题,A个问题是开放性的,讨论出国学生的优点和缺点。可以让学生展开思维,阐述自己的观点,为正文的阅读作好知识上和心理上的铺垫,第二个问题要求学生预测阅读

4、课文中的主人公在英国学习可能遇到的困难和英国学校学习与中国学校学习的不同。Reading部分介绍了主人公谢蕾第,次去国外求学进预科班时所面临的问题,以及房东和导师对他的帮助,使她大胆正视困难,迎接挑战,最终树立了信心。教师应当研究影响阅读理解的内部因素,从阅读方法、注意、记忆和思维等方面引导学生读懂课文、活用课文。Period2Learningaboutlanguage知识课LearningaboutLanguage部分共有词汇和语法两部分,词汇部分第,题要求学生用课文中的词语填空。第二题要求学生学习和运用同根词。语法部分是复习非限制性定语从句的用法。语法教学应该抓住形式、意义和用法三个环节,

5、正确处理三者之间的关系。明确让学生掌握语言形式是基础、了解其意义是关键、学会使用才是真正的目的。Period3Usinglanguage运用课UsingLanguage部分共设计了听力”、读和说“和写”三大块。听力”部分共有四题,而且由浅入深,层层深入。实际教学过程课时划分建议Period1将WarmingUp、Pre-reading、Reading和Comprehending整合在一起上市“阅读课”。Period2将Learningaboutlanguage和Workbook中的USINGWORDSANDEXPRESSIONS、USINGSTRUCTURES整合在一起上T“语言知识课”。Pe

6、riod3将Usinglanguage设计为一p包括听说读与单项技能或组合技能训练的“综合技能课(一)Period4将Workbook的READINGANDLISTENING和TALKING整合在一起上一节“听说课”。Period5将Workbook的LISTENINGTASK、READINGANDWRITINGTASK和SPEAKINGTASK整合犷节“综合技能课(二)”。第二部分教学资源说明Section1Background背景围绕单兀话题"Festivalaroundtheworld",金色教案提供了几则语百规范、短小精干的趣味性材料。这些材料既可以作为教师教学参考

7、材料为教师所用,也可以直接或改写、重组后作为课堂内外的拓展性阅读材料呈现给学生。Section2Explanation解析重点针对“阅读课型”中的课文难句,金色教案不仅提供了详尽的,就句论句的解析和翻译,而且还以解析的焦点话题为线索,进行了一定的归纳、辨析和总结,以帮助教师更好地实施“语言形式”的教学。Section3Vocabulary词汇按照课本单元词汇表顺序,金色教案重点提供动词、短语搭配的讲解。所提供的例句,经典、地道、实用、易懂,完全可以直接用于教学。第三部分教学测评说明围绕单兀词法、句法项目,金色教案提供了长短不一的“单兀教学测评”,并备有参考专些测评题目直接源于历年高考试卷,更具
