1、TED英语演讲稿:大人可以跟孩子学什么?美国华盛顿州西雅图市华裔女童邹奇奇(英文名Adra Svitak),某年被美国媒体誉为“世界上最聪明的孩子”,她比凤姐牛多了,3岁时就开始阅读各种书籍,从4岁起写下了400多篇故事和诗歌,8岁时出版的故事集飞扬的手指轰动美国,其中包含的300多篇故事大多以中世纪为背景,从古埃及写到了文艺复兴,文中透露的政治、教和教育见解,思想深刻,文思严谨。邹奇奇也被美国广播公司誉为“美国文坛小巨人”。Nw, I want t start with a questin: When was the last time yu were called childish? Well, Anne Frank tuched millins with her pwerful accunt f the Hlcaust, Ruby Bridges helped end segregatin in the United States, and, mst recently, Charlie Simpsn helped t raise 120,000 punds fr Haiti n his little bike. 4、yu can see evidenced by such eamples, age has abslutely nthing t d with it. The traits the wrd childish addresses are seen s ften in adults that we shuld ablish this age-discriminatry wrd when it cmes t criticizing behavir assciated with irrespnsibility and irratinal thinking. 5、en again, whs t say that certain types f irratinal thinking arent eactly what the wrld needs? Maybe yuve had grand plans befre, but stpped yurself, thinking: Thats impssible r that csts t much r that wnt benefit me. Fr better r wrse, we kids arent hampered as much when it cmes t thinking abut reasns
6、 why nt t d things. Kids can be full f inspiring aspiratins and hpeful thinking, like my wish that n ne went hungry r that everything were free kind f utpia. Hw many f yu still dream like that and believe in the pssibilities? Smetimes a knwledge f histry and the past failures f utpian ideals can be
7、a burden because yu knw that if everything were free, that the fd stcks wuld becme depleted, and scarce and lead t chas. n the ther hand, we kids still dream abut perfectin. And thats a gd thing because in rder t make anything a reality, yu have t dream abut it first.In many ways, ur audacity t imag
8、ine helps push the bundaries f pssibility. Fr instance, the Museum f Glass in Tacma, Washingtn, my hme state - yh Washingtn - (Applause) has a prgram called Kids Design Glass, and kids draw their wn ideas fr glass art. Nw, the resident artist said they gt sme f their best ideas thrugh the prgram bec
9、ause kids dnt think abut the limitatins f hw hard it can be t blw glass int certain shapes. They just think f gd ideas. Nw, when yu think f glass, yu might think f clrful Chihuly designs r maybe Italian vases, but kids challenge glass artists t g beynd that int the realm f brken-hearted snakes and b
10、acn bys, wh yu can see has meat visin. (Laughter)Nw, ur inherent wisdm desnt have t be insiders knwledge. Kids already d a lt f learning frm adults, and we have a lt t share. I think that adults shuld start learning frm kids. Nw, I d mst f my speaking in frnt f an educatin crwd, teachers and student
11、s, and I like this analgy. It shuldnt just be a teacher at the head f the classrm telling students d this, d that. The students shuld teach their teachers. Learning between grwn ups and kids shuld be reciprcal. The reality, unfrtunately, is a little different, and it has a lt t d with trust, r a lac
12、k f it.Nw, if yu dnt trust smene, yu place restrictins n them, right. If I dubt my lder sisters ability t pay back the 10 percent interest I established n her last lan, Im ging t withhld her ability t get mre mney frm me until she pays it back. 13、e a prevalently restrictive attitude twards kids frm every dnt d that, dnt d this in the schl handbk, t restrictins n schl internet use. As histry pints ut, regimes becme ppressive when theyre fearful abut keeping cntrl. And, althugh adults may nt be quite at the level f ttalitarian regimes, kids ha
14、ve n, r very little, say in making the rules, when really the attitude shuld be reciprcal, meaning that the adult ppulatin shuld learn and take int accunt the wishes f the yunger ppulatin.Nw, whats even wrse than restrictin is that adults ften underestimate kids abilities. We lve challenges, but whe
15、n epectatins are lw, trust me, we will sink t them. My wn parents had anything but lw epectatins fr me and my sister. kay, s they didnt tell us t becme dctrs r lawyers r anything like that, but my dad did read t us abut Aristtle and pineer germ fighters when lts f ther kids were hearing The Wheels n
16、 the Bus G Rund and Rund. Well, we heard that ne t, but Pineer Germ Fighters ttally rules. (Laughter)I lved t write frm the age f fur, and when I was si my mm bught me my wn laptp equipped with Micrsft Wrd. Thank yu Bill Gates and thank yu Ma. I wrte ver 300 shrt stries n that little laptp, and I wa
17、nted t get published. Instead f just scffing at this heresy that a kid wanted t get published, r saying wait until yure lder, my parents were really supprtive. Many publishers were nt quite s encuraging. ne large childrens publisher irnically saying that they didnt wrk with children. Childrens publi
18、sher nt wrking with children? I dnt knw, yure kind f alienating a large client there. (Laughter) Nw, ne publisher, Actin Publishing, was willing t take that leap and trust me, and t listen t what I had t say. They published my first bk, Flying Fingers, - yu see it here - and frm there n, its gne t s
19、peaking at hundreds f schls, keynting t thusands f educatrs, and finally, tday, speaking t yu.I appreciate yur attentin tday, because t shw that yu truly care, yu listen. But theres a prblem with this rsy picture f kids being s much better than adults. Kids grw up and becme adults just like yu. (Lau

The gal is nt t turn kids int yur kind f adult, but rather better adults than yu have been, which may be a little challenging cnsidering yur guys credentials, but the way prgress happens is because new generatins and new eras grw and develp and becme better than the pr
21、evius nes. Its the reasn were nt in the Dark Ages anymre. N matter yur psitin f place in life, it is imperative t create pprtunities fr children s that we can grw up t blw yu away. (Laughter)Adults and fellw TEDsters, yu need t listen and learn frm kids and trust re frm us. Yu must lend an ear tday,
22、 because we are the leaders f tmrrw, which means were ging t be taking care f yu when yure ld and senile. N, just kidding. N, really, we are ging t be the net generatin, the nes wh will bring this wrld frward. And, in case yu dnt think that this really has meaning fr yu, remember that clning is pssi
23、ble, and that invlves ging thrugh childhd again, in which case, yull want t be heard just like my generatin. Nw, the wrld needs pprtunities fr new leaders and new ideas. Kids need pprtunities t lead and succeed. Are yu ready t make the match? Because the wrlds prblems shuldnt be the human familys he

28、,你就给他们设限,对吧。如果我怀疑我姐姐没有能力 偿还我给她的上一笔贷款的 百分之十的利息时, 我将要限制她再向我借钱, 直到她还清借款为止。(笑声) 顺便提一下,这是个真实的例子。大人呢,似乎普遍地 对小孩持限制性的态度, 从学校手册里的 “不能做这个”、“不能做那个” 到学校互联网使用的各种限制性规定。历史告诉我们,当政体害怕统治失控时, 它就会变得暴虐。虽然大人可能不会 像独裁政权一样心狠手辣, 但小孩在制定规则方面是几乎没有话语权的。而正确的态度应该是两者相互尊重的, 也就是说成人群体应该了解 并仔细对待年幼群体的 愿望。然而比限制更糟糕的是, 大人常常低估小孩的能力。我们喜欢挑战,但假如大人对我们期望很低的话, 说真的,我们就会不思进取。我自己的父母对我和姐姐 抱很高的期望。当然,他们没有让我们立志成为医生 或
