Features

TheMAX8790Aisahigh-efficiencydriverforwhitelight-oDrivesSixParallelStringswithMultipleSeries-

emittingdiodes(LEDs).Itisdesignedforlargeliquid-ConnectedLEDsperString

crystaldisplays(LCDs)thatemployanarrayofLEDsaso±1.5%CurrentRegulationAccuracyBetween

thelightsource.Acurrent-modestep-upcontrollerdrives

uptosixparallelstringsofmultipleseries-connected

LEDs.Eachstringisterminatedwithballastthatachieves

±1.5%currentregulationaccuracy,ensuringevenbright-

oLow450mVFeedbackVoltageatFullCurrent
