ThecourseofComprehensiveCurriculumDesignIIisaimingtocultivatethestudents7integrateddesignability.Inaddition,thiscoursewillbeusefulandessentialforthecomprehensionaboutthecoursessuchasFundamentalIndustrialEngineering,ProductionPlanningandControl,FacilitiesPlanningandLogisticManagement,Ergonomics,EconomicsinEngineering,QualityManagement,HumanResourceManagement.Andbyworkinginthiscoursestudentscanbetrainedtoputtheirownknowledgeintoengineeringpractice.Whafsmore,thecapabilityofanalyzingandworkingoutaproblemaboutaproductionoperationsystemcanbepromoted.Lastbutnottheleast,thecourseismakingstudentsmasteringtheprofessionaltheoriesandmethodsofIndustrialEngineering.Everystudentcanlearntheabilityofthinkingproblemssystematicallyandtheabilityofsolvingproblemsindependently.
Followingaretherequirementsofeachstudentinthiscourse:
Learninghowtoresearchdatathroughtheelementsjudgmentinordertofindthebasicdataforplanninganddesign;Buildingthewholesolutionbydesigninginindustrialfacilitiesplanning,logisticdistributionanalysis,systematicplanningofindustrialFacilities,qualitymanagementandcostmanagement;
Learningtoestimateforyourinvestment,makingfeasibilityanalysisbeforeinvest;
Cultivatingtheabilitytowritetechnicaldocuments;
Cultivatingtheabilityofsystematicalthinking.
ThecourseofComprehensiveCurriculumDesignisapracticalfoundationcoursesinHigherEngineeringCollegeanditisthecompulsorycurriculumofundergraduate.Itplaysanimportantroleinstudents7integrateddesignability.Everyfacultyadviserhasdeepunderstandingandgraspinginthecontents,requirements,methodsandstepsofthiscourse.Everyonecanguidethestudentstocompletethetaskofdesignanddealwithavarietyofproblemsduringcurriculumdesignprocessskillfully.Teachersshouldbegoodatmotivatingandcultivatingstudentsabouttheindependentthinking,analyzingandinnovating.Inaddition,teachersshouldbegoodatorganizationandguidestudentsincooperativedesignbyteamapproach.

Thistaskistakingacertainproductmanufacturingenterprisesastheobject,makingworkshoplayoutdesign,plantlayoutdesign,reasonableproductionplanningandorderpolicy,analysisandresearchontheoperationofassemblyprocedureandthedesignofstoragesystemfortheenterprise,accordingtoactualproductiondataoftheenterpriseasthebasisofdesign.Duringthedesigningprocess,teacherscanletundergraduatesdesigntheseaboveonebyoneaccordingtothesystemclassification.

Grading
Thecourseassessmentaccordingtopercentilescoringsystemandtheaccumulationtypetestmethod,whichmeansthefinalscoreofthiscourseisconsistofthesefollowingparts:
Inspectionoftheproject;(20%)
Qualityofthedrawings;(20%)
Summaryreportofthisproject;(20%)
Concludingpresentation.(40%)OtherIssues
Curriculumdesignorganizationform
Curriculumdesignprocessaccordingtothegroupingway,theteachersgivestudentsbackgroundinformationaboutthecurriculumdesign,andintroducetostudentsabouttheway,theprocessandthestepsofthecurriculumdesign.Thedesignprocesstakeclassesfocusedcounseling,anddecentralizeddesignapproach.Curriculumdesignclassesaredividedintoseveralgroups.Designrequirementsshouldbeformedonthebasisofdivisionoflabor,fulldiscussionandmutualinspirationwithinthegroup.Afterthecurriculumdesign,everyonesubmitsacurriculumdesignreportbutitshouldn’tbethesamewithothers.
Curriculumdesignspecificrequirements
Theclassshouldbedividedintodifferentgroup,eachgrouparrangeaLeader(ProjectLeader),whoresponsiblefororganizingandcoordinatingthegroup'sdivisionoftasks;
Thecompletionofthedesignprocessmustbeindependentandmaynotreferenceorcopiedacrossgroups,eachgroupmustavoidappearingtobesimilar;
Studentsshouldbestrictlyinaccordancewiththerequirementsofthedesignguidebookwrittendesignintroduction.Instructionsmustcontainthecontentaboutthedesignanalysis.ThedesignintroductionmustbeprintedbyA4paper,withasamefrontcover.
Requirementsforinstructor
Duringthecoursedesigninstructorneedstoguidestudentsintheclassroomeverydaytoensurethedesignquality.TeachersshouldbeinvolvedinthediscussionofthedesignandAnswerstudents'questions.
