carriers,whichisupfrom229inthe2023edition.TheBigBookisthetravel

industry’sonlyone-stopannualcompendiumofairlineandfrequentflyerstatistics.

Thetravelindustrycontinuesitsrapidrecoveryfromthedarkdaysofthepandemic,withexceptionalincreasespostedbyairlinesbasedinAsia.Withfewexceptions,

the168primaryairlinesinthisBigBookshowyear-over-yearincreasesfor2023.

ThelargedatabasesupportingthisBigBookpermitsthecalculationofaglobaltotalfortheairlineindustrywhichrevealsa40percenttrafficincreasefor2023anda32.5percentrevenueincrease.Thetablebelowrevealsanamazingdevelopment–just
