Afterthesubmissionofourmanuscriptentitled"Cancerclassificationbyexpressionprofiles:microRNAversusmRNA"(trackingnumber:2007-10-11332)toNature,sixweekshavepassed.SoIwouldliketoinquirethestatusofourmanuscript.

WethinkthatourcommentsontheoriginalpaperofNaturewillcausewidespreadinteresttobothexpertsandnon-experts.ThisisbecausemicroRNAisahotspotinlifescience;theauthoroftheoriginalpaperisaVIPincancerresearchbasedongeneexpressionprofiles,withaSCIHindexof45,totalcitationsmorethan15,000times,andthispapercitied365times;andthealgorithmweproposedoutperformstherecentstate-of-the-artalgorithm.Moreover,byusingotherstate-of-the-artalgorithms,wecanalsoprovethattheoriginalauthor'smainconclusionsarewrong.

In

they

Also,

I

have

thing

that

to

is

support

The

authors

calculate

supported.

Recently,

DFT

(e.g.,

have

that

support

Hence,

for

any

support

would

likely

be

important

to

Could

the

comment

on

that?

Are

the

likely

to

if
