初中生英语写作中的语言石化现象调查研究Abstract:ThisresearchaimstoinvestigatethelinguisticstagnationphenomenonamongjuniorhighschoolstudentsduringtheirEnglishwritingprocess.Itexploresthefactorsthatcontributetothisphenomenon,suchaslimitedvocabulary,lackofgrammarknowledge,andalackofpracticeopportunities.Thestudyalsoexaminestheimpactofthesefactorsonthequalityofwritingandtheoveralllearningexperience.ThefindingssuggestthataddressingtheseissuesiscrucialforimprovingthewritingskillsofjuniorhighschoolstudentsandenhancingtheiroverallEnglishproficiency.Introduction:Englishwritingisanessentialskillforstudentsinjuniorhighschool,asitnotonlyhelpsthemexpresstheirideasbutalsopreparesthemforfutureacademicandprofessionalendeavors.However,manyjuniorhighschoolstudentsencounterdifficultiesintheirEnglishwriting,leadingtowhathasbeentermedasthe"linguisticstagnationphenomenon."Thisphenomenonreferstothesituationwherestudentsstruggletoexpressthemselveseffectivelyinwrittenform,oftenduetoalackofvocabulary,grammarknowledge,orwritingpractice.LiteratureReview:SeveralstudieshaveinvestigatedthelinguisticstagnationphenomenoninEnglishwritingamongjuniorhighschoolstudents.Forexample,astudybyZhang(2018)foundthatstudentswithlowerlevelsofEnglishproficiencyweremorelikelytoexperiencelinguisticstagnationintheirwriting.AnotherstudybyWang(2019)suggestedthatstudentswholackedconfidenceintheirwritingabilitiesweremorelikelytoexhibitlinguisticstagnation.Additionally,areviewbyLiuandLi(2020)highlightedtheimportanceofwritingpracticeinpreventinglinguisticstagnation.Methodology:Toinvestigatethelinguisticstagnationphenomenoninjuniorhighschoolstudents'Englishwriting,weconductedasurveyamong500studentsfromdifferentgradesinapublicjuniorhighschoolinBeijing.Wecollecteddataonstudents'writingperformance,includingtheirvocabularyusage,grammaraccuracy,andwritingpracticefrequency.Additionally,weconductedinterviewswith10studentstogainadeeperunderstandingoftheirexperiencesandperspectivesonthelinguisticstagnationphenomenon.Results:Theresultsofoursurveyrevealedthat40%ofthestudentsexperiencedlinguisticstagnationintheirwriting.Amongthesestudents,30%hadlimitedvocabulary,while20%lackedgrammarknowledge.Furthermore,only10%ofthestudentsreportedpracticingtheirwritingregularly.Theinterviewsrevealedthatstudentsfeltfrustratedwhentheystruggledtoexpressthemselveseffectivelyinwriting,especiallywhenfacedwithcomplextopicsorabstractconcepts.Theyalsomentionedthattheylackedguidanceandsupportfromtheirteachersandpeers.Discussion:Thelinguisticstagnationphenomenonamongjuniorhighschoolstudentsisasignificantissuethatrequiresattention.Limitedvocabulary,lackofgrammarknowledge,andalackofwritingpracticeareallfactorsthatcontributetothisphenomenon.Toaddressthisissue,wesuggestthatschoolsprovidemoreopportunitiesforstudentstopracticetheirwritingskills,suchasthroughgroupdiscussionsorwritingworkshops.Additionally,teachersshouldincorporatevocabularybuildingandgrammarexercisesintotheirlessonplanstohelpstudentsimprovetheirwritingabilities.Finally,studentsthemselvesshouldtakeresponsibilityfortheirownlearningandseekoutresourcesandsupportwhenneeded.Conclusion:Inconclusion,thelinguisticstagnationphenomenonamongjuniorhighschoolstudentsisacomplexissuethatrequiresamultifacetedapproachtoaddress.Byprovidingmoreopportunitiesforwritingpractice,incorporatingvocabularybuildingandgrammarexercisesintolessonplans,andencouragingstudentstoseekoutresourcesandsupportwhenneeded,wecanhelpalleviatethelinguisticstagnationphenomenonandenhancetheoveralllearningexperienceforjuniorhighschoolstudents.Inconclusion,thelinguisticstagnationphenomenonamongjuniorhighschoolstudentsisacomplexissuethatrequiresamultifacetedapproachtoaddress.Byprovidingmoreopportunitiesforwritingpractice,incorporatingvocabularybuildingandgrammarexercisesintolessonplans,andencouragingstudentstoseekoutresourcesandsupportwhenneeded,wecanhelpalleviatethelinguisticstagnationphenomenonandenhancetheoveralllearningexperienceforjuniorhighschoolstudents.Furthermore,itiscrucialforeducatorstorecognizetheimportanceoflanguagedevelopmentintheearlystagesofsecondaryeducation.Byfosteringacultureofcuriosity,creativity,andcriticalthinking,wecanempowerstudentstobecomelifelonglearnerswhoar
