Artificialintelligence(AI)hasrapidlyproliferatedacrossthelivesofAmericans,notonlyineverydaylifebutalsointhe
workplace.Ithastransformedhoworganizationsoperateandmakedecisions.Fromautomatingroutinetasks,human
resourcefunctions,andimprovingdataanalysistoenablingmorepersonalizedcustomerexperiences,AIisincreasinglyintegratedintoeverydayworkplaceprocesses.Asthesetoolsbecomemorecapableandwidespread,employersneedtounderstandwhatAIcan-andcannotdoandpreparetheirworkforcethroughuseandtraining.
Findingsarebasedonasurveyof1,019individualsrepresentingU.S.employers,fieldedfromNovember24December9,2025.Employersrevealthat:
1AIisembeddedandwidelyusedacrossorganizationsforavarietyoftasks,though
oldercohortsskewtowardlessfrequentandconsistentsustaineduseandareperceivedasdemonstratinggreaterresistancetotraining.
2OngoingAI-relatedtrainingisprevalentandtypicallymandatory,withtheintentoffosteringaworkforcethatispreparedandflexible.
3BarrierstoeffectiveAIadoptionincludetheabsenceofclearoperationalguidelines-particularlyaroundchoosingappropriatetrainingandidentifyingtherightprojects.

•Educationandtrainingarekey.GiventhepaceofAIadvancesandtheusecasesforthisdisruptiveforce,employersneedtobeattheforefrontof
educatingtheirworkforcestomaketherealityofAImeetthepromiseofAI.
•RecognizingdifferenthurdlesbybusinesssizerelatedtomaximizingthebenefitsofAI,employersshouldidentifytrainingandopportunitiesappropriatefortheir
